Bug#399049: libqt4-dev: qdbuscpp2xml expects to find moc from qt = 4.2.x as 'moc' in path
Subject: libqt4-dev: qdbuscpp2xml expects to find moc from qt = 4.2.x as 'moc' in path Package: libqt4-dev Version: 4.2.0-1 Severity: minor qdbuscpp2xml is hardcoded to look for moc in $PATH, but fails to work with the qt 3.x version of moc. Bug#399059: Uninstallable on GNU/k*BSD
Package: kdebase Version: 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-1 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch The latest kdebase package in unstable cannot be installed on GNU/kfreeBSD (and other non-linux debian systems) because it depends on the linux-only packages hal and pmount. Bug#395415: kontact: Kontact crashes on startup
A few more questions (you might skip some depending on your answer to previous questions) Are you using remote kolab calendars? Yes. Do you use the calendar part (Korganizer) ? Yes. Do korganizer crash if you start it alone No, I am able to start Korganizer without problems. Can you try to read #3 #4 in http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136308 I will try this solution when I have some time at the weekend. and #7 in http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=135711 I am able to start Kontact sometimes. For example if I start Kontact when Korganizer/Kmail was started before and Kmail is still open, then Kontact does not crash. does any of that look like your setup? and does the workaround help you? /Sune Regards, Benjamin pgpMV0qoKCJyH.pgp Description: PGP signature

Bug#394534: lost syncing of calendar events and addressbook when upgrading to kpilot-3.5.5
Hi, The main change from kpilot 3.5.4 to 3.5.5 in Debian is: kpilot 3.5.4 was compiled against pilot-link 0.11.x and it got a dependency on libpisock8. kpilot 3.5.5 was compiled against new pilot-link 0.12 and it got a dependency on libpisock9. The changes in the new release of pilot-link are big, the pilot-link maintainer even uploaded this new version to experimental before upload it to unstable. The result is kpilot is not ready to work with the new version 0.12 and for what i have been told, it will not be ready before the release of Etch. I do not right now if more packages are affected but this change and tbh, i do not know what is the best solution for this problem either. On Fri, Nov 17, 2006 at 12:33:43PM +0100, Sjoerd Langkemper wrote: I can't try out the packages from Ana, because I have an AMD64 machine. And i have not an amd64 machine :( In order to build the packages for AMD64, you only need compile kdepim against old pilot-link, you can get it from here: http://snapshot.debian.net/archive/2006/08/28/debian/pool/main/p/pilot-link/ The version you need is exactly: 0.11.8-24 Ana -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#394534: pilot-link and kpilot
Hi, It seems kpilot has already been ported to work with new pilot-link 0.12, but it has two problems. First, kpilot is being maintained outside the KDE SVN, so the code we're shipping in kdepim is not longer maintained. It is not clear whether they're going back to maintain it inside the KDE SVN. The current code is available at http://cvs.codeyard.net/kpilot/ Second, this code includes its own copy of pilot-link, and i do not know whether it is only to make the program building easier, or because modifications over pilot link are necessary. I do not understand why care was not taken to avoid breaking the reverse dependencies when the transition from pilot-link was made. Bug#399146: kdm only works for login one time
Package: kdm Version: 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-1 Severity: important Last night I dist-upgraded my unstable and this pulled Xorg 7.1. Prior to that I was running Xorg 7.0. After the upgrade finished I encountered a bizarre consequence. Upon starting the system kdm runs fine and I login. However, after quitting, the kdm login screen does not appear and I am dumped to a console. If I stop kdm and start it again, the login screen appears and I can login fine but after exiting again the same thing happens. Every time I logout, kdm cannot restart.
