Bug#840838: plasma-desktop: There are not jumplist for applications and firefox
Hi, this is a new function note : Not only did we improve interacting with running applications, starting applications gets in your way less, too. Using Jump Lists you can launch an application and jump, hence the name, to a specific task right away. This feature is also present in the application launchers. url : https://www.kde.org/announcements/plasma-5.6.0.php 2016-10-15 15:53 GMT+02:00 Diederik de Haas: > On zaterdag 15 oktober 2016 15:17:13 CEST Christophe Leloup wrote: > >* What was the outcome of this action? > >right-click > > Could you expand your description of the problem? If so, can you point us to what the problem might be? > > Happy hacking, Hi, I'm sorry for the breakage, but unfortunately the report arrived just a couple hours too late and the broken version migrated to testing before it could be blocked. As others have mentioned, unfortunately 304.132 seems badly broken. See https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=840342 Being a closed source proprietary driver, we as maintainers cannot do anything and we have to wait for Nvidia to fix it. Unfortunately the 304xx series is quite old and neither me nor the other Nvidia maintainers have hardware that is supported by it, so we physically cannot run it. So when a new release is out the only thing we can test is that the kernel modules build, and nothing else. Given we don't have HW and it's closed source, we have to trust that Nvidia tests it properly, and upload in good faith. The only workaround is to downgrade and pin to the version in jessie-backports. There is a thread on Nvidia's forum, I already chipped in but there have been no comments from Nvidia: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/968892/geforce-7300le-with-304-132-glxinfo-fails-now-with-quot-x-error-of-failed-request-badvalue-quot- I encourage everyone who is affected by this bug to post on that thread, to try and draw attention to it, so that we can get a fix. Meanwhile, for your KDE bug report, please feel free to merge it into the bug report mentioned above. Bug#761487: Okular printing with hplip is broken

But, no one that I know of is working on this. I don't see much changes in the okular commit history regarding printing, but it would be nice to test this against the newer versions of okular anyway. Would it be feasible for you to try to reproduce this issue with lastest version (currently 4:16.08.2-1)? I can confirm that printing is completely broken with Okular on Debian Jessie. I am also using a HP printer with hplip. The lower third of pages are always blank. This description doesn't match the original report, which was a 3mm displacement and some stretching, is this also reproducible by you? When you try to print in other pdf viewers such as evince and/or xpdf do you also miss the lower third of the pages? Bug#841681: jessie-pu: package ark/4:4.14.2-2
Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal Tags: jessie User: release.debian@packages.debian.org Usertags: pu Hi, I would like to fix the bugs #800021 and #770840 of the ark package in stable. The current behaviour is that the version of ark in stable crashes when working on nested files, and it also crashes on exit when there is an open file. The patch for fixing this was provided by upstream, backporting the fix to the 4.14 branch. I'm attaching the diff file for the proposed 4:4.14.2-2+deb8u1 upload.
