No.

Please hint ttf-dejavu into testing

2007-08-21 Thread Davide Viti
Hi,
could you please hint current version of ttf-dejavu (2.19-1) into testing?
the package provides also an udeb used by the graphical installer.

TIA,

 No.

Bummer, but at least it fixes upgrades.

luk_work 22:55:11 dannf: from SRM's POV the security update for the
kernel on arm is a go!

So I'm planning to proceed.

  * waldi 00:21:19 detex: dannf don't wait for a correction of its own
assumptions and makes the problem worser

Well, I did wait - but I let the buildds do some work while I waited.
You'll have to clarify what you mean by worser if you want to
convince me to stop this.

can you please schedule a give back for obconf on all archs?
I again forgot to wait with the obconf upload until the

Thanks!

  Please RM team,

Could you please schedule binNMUs to stable for rootskel?

Please make it easy for the one scheduling the binNMUs by being
 accurate:

 rootskel_1.50, 1, Rebuild against klibc_1.4.34-2, alpha amd64 arm
hppa i386 ia64 mips mipsel powerpc s390 sparc

 Adding a dep-wait libklibc-dev (=1.4.34-2)

Scheduled.

Thanks,

gmp and ihu: can go into testing together, I think

2007-08-21 Thread Steve M. Robbins
Hi,

GMP was updated for the long double transition, creating a new
package libgmpxx4ldbl. It's not in testing yet, allegedly because to
move it would break ihu. Or something. I can't parse the haxx.se
output (below), but my hunch is that both need to go in together.
Can someone make that happen?

Thanks,
-Steve

Checking ihu

* trying to update ihu from 0.5.6-1 to 0.5.6-3 (candidate is 33 days old)
* ihu is waiting for gmp
o Updating gmp makes 1 depending packages uninstallable on i386: ihu
* Updating ihu makes 1 non-depending packages uninstallable on i386: ihu

Dependency analysis (including build-depends; i386 only):

* ihu depends on libgmpxx4ldbl which is not available in testing
o binary package libgmpxx4ldbl is part of source package gmp
(explained above)

http://ftp-master.debian.org/testing/hints/adeodato:

  # 2007-07-26
  easy gmp/2:4.2.1+dfsg-5 ihu/0.5.6-3

The haxx.se output does not tell you whether or not a hint is currently in
place for the named package.
