Please unblock/hint apache2

2008-07-25 Thread Stefan Fritsch
Hi,

please unblock apache2 2.2.9-6 and hint it into testing with
apache2-mpm-itk.

apache2 (2.2.9-6) unstable; urgency=high

  * Urgency high for RC bug fix.
  * Fix SIGBUS on SPARC by preventing gcc from optimizing some memcpy
calls
away. (Closes: #485525)

Thanks.

I decided to upload 1:1.8.0+r592-2 with minimal changes, as the new
upstream version contained one more change which I don't think is
necessary for lenny. Also, due to the difference of how I package
upstream releases and snapshots, I felt there would be too many
differences for me to feel comfortable about at this stage.

Please let 1:1.8.0+r592-2 through to lenny - the only changes not
mentioned in the changelog are the ones resulting from newer autotools.

unblocking partman-multipath

2008-07-25 Thread Guido Günther
Hi,
please unblock partman-multipath. There's no version in lenny yet. This
way folks building custom installers (due to #440675) can pull from
lenny instead of sid.

New upload for app-install-data planned, exception possible?

2008-07-25 Thread Julian Andres Klode
app-install-data is a collection of desktop and icon files found in the
archive. The current version of app-install-data is from 2007-10-30.

Would it be possible to get an exception for an upload happening next week,
with the following changes:

- Update Data to current Lenny
- Include a list explaining the origin (package) of each included icon
- Include the tools used to generate the data

BTW, is the deadline for uploads today or sunday?

Regards,
Julian Andres Klode

Hm, I just remembered that we've had this discussion with the release
team in the past and we didn't switch the dependency for exactly this
reason :)

We can add a conflict against (each and every released version of) too
old non-working libc-client, but I believe buildd's does not support
that properly.

Ugh!

I intend to change to unversioned -dev package after Lenny (see my note

depends.

OK then, commit reverted.

Thanks,

Yes, it's version dependent. Though I interpreted the request to be for
the version that was in unstable which already was 0.9.8g-12 :-) Note
that grep-excuses openssl should tell you what's happening...

Is this unblock version dependent? I needed to upload another version
because the changelog of the NMU was not included which confused
bugtracking. The unblocking needs to be for version 0.9.8g-12.

Actually, I suspect you'd better keep it versioned for Asterisk:
