emacs22 22.2+2-5
I've uploaded emacs22 22.2+2-5 unstable which contains two bug fixes that I believe should be considered for Lenny. Please let me know if you would like me to do anything further. The first change fixes a bug that was affecting other packages. Debian's Emacs would signal an error if /usr/bin/mail wasn't an executable, even if it was never used. The change effectively delays the error until the mailer is actually used, while still making sure that the user will see the error. The second fix makes Debian's Emacs more consistent across the various architectures. Previously, the i386 emacs22 was compiled against libasound2 and had sound support, but most of the other architectures probably didn't. This package adds a build dependency on libasound2-dev for all the Debian architectures except those based on the Hurd or Freebsd. Thanks for the help. diff --git a/changelog b/changelog index 9d63899..0ab32ac 100644 --- a/changelog +++ b/changelog @@ -1,3 +1,18 @@ +emacs22 (22.2+2-5) unstable; urgency=low + + * Add a build dependency on libasound2-dev which emacs22 is already +linked against on i386. Hi, Please let dmraid 1.0.0.rc14-6 in lenny, it has a workaround for #500883 (vol_id bug) dmraid (1.0.0.rc14-6) unstable; urgency=low * debian/rules: Added execution rights to /usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/local-top/dmraid * debian/patches/02_raid45_toraid456.dpatch: Remove, this not fix #411172 and the new dm-raid45 (not yet in Debian) is using the target that the dmraid code originally expected. -- Giuseppe Iuculano <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Thu, 06 Nov 2008 08:50:02 +0100 dmraid (1.0.0.rc14-5) unstable; urgency=low * debian/control: dmraid and dmraid-udeb should depend on dmsetup and dmsetup-udeb respecitvely, to ensure UUID symlinks are correctly created. * Place a script in the local-top directory of the initramfs, to catch any arrays that have not been activated by udev and vol_id. This is because vol_id does not yet have knowledge of newer array metadata. Thanks to Luke Yelavich <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (Workaround for #500883) * Removed pointless debian/initramfs/dmraid.initramfs-local directory * debian/patches/12_support_virtio_devices.dpatch: Check virtio devices for dmraid metadata, patch thanks to Colin Watson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. * Fixed a typo in the previous changelog entry -- Giuseppe Iuculano <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Wed, 22 Oct 2008 01:13:55 +0200 Giuseppe. signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
Please unblock man2html, rlinetd, smb2www, solid-pop3d and upx-ucl.
Hi, Please allow 5 of my packages for lenny. The packages have been sitting in unstable for at least 2 months without no new bugs reported. man2html/1.6f-3 62 days old * 031-man2html-BR-empty-line.patch: new patch to ignore font change requests that are note followed by any words (closes: #489181). * 032-man2html-man-remove-LO-lines: remove `.LO 1' (lintian). * Rename debian/README.build to debian/README.source. * Standards-Version: 3.8.0. The first patch ([1]) is quite simply. It fixes a problem with parsing man pages that contain combined font change request tags (like .BR or .BI) followed only by a new-line chars, e.g.: .SH SEE ALSO .BR .IR initramfs.conf (5), The second patch ([2])removes invalid troff tags from man2html's man pages. Switched build dependencies from unmaintained libpcap-dev to libpcap2-dev. smb2www/980804-37 99 days old * Updated Swedish debconf translation (closes: #492230). * Standards-Version: 3.8.0 (no changes). Debconf translation update. solid-pop3d 62 days old * Don't call db_stop (closes: #473290). * Standards-Version: 3.8.0 (no changes). The bug 473290 causes postinst to hang in some very rarely cases. I'm not really convinced that it's a solid-pop3d bug, but I fixed it there. upx-ucl/3.01-3 104 days old * Applied patch from Ubuntu to fix ftbfs due to "format not a string literal and no format arguments" warning. The change is quite obvious [1]. [1] http://patch-tracking.debian.net/patch/misc/view/upx-ucl/3.01-3/src/msg.cpp Regards, robert signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
