You need to get the package decrufted. You can file a RM bug against
ftp.debian.org for that.

transition of cgal to testing

2016-05-02 Thread Joachim Reichel
Hi,

https://qa.debian.org/excuses.php?package=cgal says:

7 days old (needed 5 days)
old binaries left on armhf: libcgal-qt5-11, libcgal-qt5-dev (from 4.7-4) (but
ignoring cruft, so nevermind)
Valid candidate

(It is intended that these two binary packages are no longer built for armhf.)

Why does the package not transition to testing? Is maybe "ignoring cruft, so
nevermind" not correct? Do I need to do something to these two binary packages
removed first?

Joachim

ntfs-3g previously used a virtual library[1] that caused problems with
packages depending on it. I've created a normal, binNMU safe library
package which currently sits in experimental.
Tested the affected packages:
- partclone
- testdisk
- wimlib

All three build fine and seem to be correct with the new ntfs-3g
package. May I upload the it with the new upstream release to Sid?
Mentioned packages will need to be binNMUed.
