I _think_ it's something like this:

r-cran-ggpubr depends r-cran-rstatix depends r-cran-car depends r-cran-maptools
.
Therefore a #1071355 in r-cran-maptools which is serious and tagged ftbfs
causes r-cran-ggpubr to get removed.

Thank you. Unfortunately I don't think I'll make it before the deadline / in
the next couple of hours, real life currently doesn't allow me that.

If anybody else has time to take a shot at it: here's the current issue's: I
made a mistake in the upload to experimental: it says 'experimental' in the top
of debian/changelog; should probably be 'unstable'. And the last commit on
salsa is misguided.

If nobody steps up I can probably prepare an upload for the first bookworm
point release.

Closing this request. 11.2 which is in experimental [11.2] is better suited
for bookworm: it has a smaller diff with what's in stable now. However, since
11.2 has some other problems ( #1035913 ), I'll do more work in the coming days
and hope to come up with an ever better candidate for bookworm. Sorry for the
noise.

Bug#718501: transition: ticcutils

Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org

Hi,

Excuses for the delay in dealing with this issue. Anyway, here it is: I am
requesting a transition from libticcutils1 to libticcutils2. libticcutils1 is
build by ticcutils 0.4-1. libticcutils2 is build by ticcutils = 0.4-1. A
soname bump was done upstream. (ticcutils 0.3-1 is in jessie, ticcutils 0.4-4
is in sid now, I have ticcutils 0.4-5 ready for upload to unstable.)

Once this and other upcoming transitions are completed, these bugs:

#717394 [frog] FTBFS: libucto2-dev/libucto-dev not available
#714711 [src:libfolia] libfolia: FTBFS: No package 'ticcutils' found
 #713119 [src:mbtserver] mbtserver: FTBFS: unsatisfiable build-dependencies:
libtimblserver3-dev, libmbt1

will get squashed.

Packages that need to be updated are all maintained by me:

It does; it means it breaks all versions of zoem-doc. To my knowledge,
it is mainly used when the package being replaced (e.g. zoem-doc) is no
longer built from any source (as an alternative to use the highest
 known version of that package).

There was a request for making Lintian ignore the lack of version in
such cases a while back, so Lintian no longer complains about the lack
 of version in this case.

Exactly.

zoem-doc gets shipped with squeeze (stable) only. It is not shipped with
wheezy, since zoem-doc is no longer built from the zoem source package since
zoem 10-265-1.

Bug#690475: release.debian.org: unblock: pear-horde-channel/4

2012-10-14 Thread Joost van Baal-Ilić
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: unblock

Hello release team,

Mathieu Parent uploaded a pear-horde-channel source package to unstable.
This builds the pear-horde-channel binary package, which basically consists
of just the file /usr/share/php/.channels/pear.horde.org.reg. This file
is needed for building

 php-horde-activesync
 php-horde-alarm
 php-horde-argv
 php-horde-auth
 php-horde-autoloader
 php-horde-browser
 php-horde-cache
 [...]
 php-horde-vfs
 php-horde-view
 php-horde-xml-element
 php-horde-xml-wbxml

(see (Bug #683554 RM: horde3 and reverse dependencies) for the complete list).

In current testing, the pear-horde-channel binary package is created from the
horde3 source package, which is scheduled for removal from Debian (Bug#683554:
RM: horde3 and reverse dependencies).

The debdiff of the old and new binary package is available from
http://mdcc.cx/tmp/pear-horde-channel/pear-horde-channel_3.3.12%2bdebian0-2.2_vs_4.debdiff
 .
The files debian/copyright as well as a full diff are available from
http://mdcc.cx/tmp/pear-horde-channel/ .

Unfortunately, the new pear-horde-channel Debian source package lacks
instructions on how to recreate the generated file pear.horde.org.reg. I've
just filed Bug #690463 reporting this issue.

In the mean time, please allow pear-horde-channel/4 to enter Debian testing.

Thank you for considering.

Joost

Bug#679913: unblock: frog/0.12.15-3

2012-07-02 Thread Joost van Baal-Ilić
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: freeze-exception

Hi,

Please unblock package frog.

Wheezy currently has frog/0.12.9-3. Since frog/0.12.15-3 has new upstream
code, with lots of bugfixes, and depends upon the new frogdata package, both me
and upstream (Ko van der Sloot) consider this new version much more suitable
for inclusion in Debian wheezy.

Upstream writes about 0.12.15:

Frog can be considered beta software, and, as of 2012-06, is being stabilized.
All planned functionality (including a dependency parser, the multi-word
chunker, Named Entity Recognition, Chunking and error handling and reporting)
 has been implemented and tested.

The new frogdata package is architecture: all, it installs about 100 MB of
data. Package frog in wheezy (arch: any) installs 70 MB, frog in sid installs
500 kB.

The only other change in frog 0.12.9-3 vs 0.12.15-3 is: more strict build
dependencies.

unblock frog/0.12.15-3

Thanks for your time!

Bye,

Joost
