SUA draft is generally good. I'd change, ... might get warnings. to ...
may not be able to make use of all current virus signatures and might get
 warnings.

For the record, I've released SUA29-1 including that wording; thanks.

Adam

This is a relatively small, non-security release, but it does include an
increased functionality level, so 0.97.5 will no longer be able to process all
virus signatures. An updated clamav is important for all the usual reasons
having to do with the bad guys not standing still.

Debian Stable Updates Announcement SUA 29-1 http://www.debian.org
debian-release@lists.debian.org Scott Kitterman
October 20th, 2012
---

Package : clamav
Version : 0.97.6+dfsg-1~squeeze1
Importance : medium

Upstream published version 0.97.6.

This is a bugfix release. The changes are not strictly required for
operation, but users of the previous version in squeeze might get
warnings.

The bug fixes that are part of this release resolve issues with
processing some files. If you use clamav, we highly recommend you
upgrade to this version.

Upgrade Instructions

You can get the updated packages by adding the stable-updates archive
for Squeeze to your /etc/apt/sources.list:
