Just for the record: This has been accepted into lenny (from tpu) in the meantime. Marc -- Fachbegriffe der Informatik - Einfach erklärt 8: Globale Variable Der Aktienkurs von Netscape. Agreed but remember that the only reason we're having this discussion and going through all this trouble was because 2.12.0 was waiting in NEW when the freeze happened and because the release team refused, for reasons not yet entirely clear to me, to allow it into testing (that version does not need 05-ia64.patch). -- Ludovic Brenta. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Please allow this package into testing, removing ia64. 1) False: it did not built on hppa yet. 2) Having the privilige of uploading to tpu does not mean you can introduce regressions (removing ia64) btw. Packages in tpu are not tested like packages in unstable, so they have to preferably be non intrusive at all... I uploaded libgtkada2_2.8.1-6lenny2 to testing-proposed-updates on monday evening. It built successfully on all architectures except ia64. Please allow this package into testing, removing ia64. gnat-gps_4.0.1-6lenny1, which depends on the above, is on the way. I'll let you know when I upload it. -- Ludovic Brenta. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

In that case, please prepare a minimal patch for libgtkada2 2.8.1-6 to fix #490418 through tpu and send it here. We are not going to accept a new upstream version, so if you don't want that solution, libgtkada and its r-deps will be removed from lenny. Marc pgpYpNmg758UK.pgp Description: PGP signature

I use gnat-gps package to develop AdaDesigner & GNATGPR software (not in Debian yet ;-) ; gnat-gps package does not contain critical bugs and should enter in Debian Lenny : - to maintain the Ada eco-system - to maintain Debian a the Linux reference platform for Ada.
