exim4 and the mysqlclient transition

Hello,

the PTS tells me that exim4 is involved in the mysqlclient transition.
However afaict mysql-5.5 (libmysqlclient18, libmysqlclient-dev) has
propagated (or been forced) to testing. Therefore an exim upload
should not worsen the situation as it can be built against the newer
version. Is this correct or should I refrain from uploading exim 4.80
to unstable?
