Yes I had this with some cheap memory I got on ebay.

It happened intermittently, for unpredictable time periods.
During the bursts, syslogd and klogd were taking a lot of CPU and the
filesystem was getting filled up very quickly with those warnings
I ended up replacing  the memory.  You might be lucky and have a
usable system!  If anyone wants some cursed memory, let me know

I think the 0601 refers to the memory card that has the problem (depending
on your machine you might have to remove the one it's paired with too).

I've seen it on a few Ultra30's and have just ignored it. The memory
module in my message was even incorrect. I had no module in that
position.
