I doubt that's going to help much with the x86 card, though. It is a SUN manufactured card that houses an Intel CPU so that I can run Windows NT Workstation :) Works great under Solaris - but I don't want to run Solaris :) Cheers! -Sx- :)

Set up the gnemul directory correctly (see fairly recent posts about that) and just load the `solaris' module. I doubt that's going to help much with the x86 card, though.

I did find: 98308 112 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 109511 Apr 11 2002 /lib/modules/2.4.18/kernel/arch/sparc64/solaris/solaris.o so I think I may be on the right track ... -Sx- :) On Saturday, November 2, 2002, at 08:28 PM, iudicium ferat wrote: Not completely sure what the 'Solaris Sparc' binary compatibility package would be called???

Re: Solaris Debian ?
All of the others are known hardware, so the only conclusion from this list is: The SunPCi card is behind the DEC 21554 bridge, i.e. on 02:03.0 There is little to figure about the card through this bridge, you can get the datasheet from intel, but I doubt you will get very far without aditional knowledge about the cards structure (as busses and mappings are concerned). Well, do you know where I can get one of: debian:/usr/share/doc# find / -name gnemul -ls debian:/usr/share/doc# find / -name ibcs2 -ls Not completely sure what the 'Solaris Sparc' binary compatibility package would be called??? I searched the Debian site packages (stable, test, and even unstable), but the it lists 'ibcs' only... I feel if I can hack on the card via the Solaris PC software itself this will likely prove useful. I believe I need to tune in, turn on, or somehow set-up Solaris Binary compatibility; Thx/Sx :]
