Warning: mb_ereg_replace() [function.mb-ereg-replace]: mbregex compile
err: premature end of char-class in
/usr/share/cacti/site/include/config.php on line 60
Warning: mb_ereg_replace() [function.mb-ereg-replace]: mbregex compile

/usr/share/cacti/site/include/config.php on line 147
Fatal error: Call to undefined function db_connect_real() in
/usr/share/cacti/site/include/config.php on line 153

http://forums.cacti.net/about16214.htmlhighlight=egroupware

Si quelqu'un pouvait me conseiller.

Par avance merci.

Equivalent postfix à 'exim4 -brw root'

2008-02-13 Thread David BERCOT
Bonjour,

% postmap -q [EMAIL PROTECTED] hash:/etc/postfix/virtual

Exemple: IMPRIMANTE EPSON STYLUS PRO XL

2008-02-13 Thread xunil

debianpmd a écrit :

Le Monday 11 February 2008 01:43:13 xunil, vous avez écrit :

Bonsoir,

http://solutions.brother.com/linux/sol/printer/linux/cups_wrapper_install6.
html

Ca a parfaitement marché. Aujourd'hui, lorsque j'ai rebooté, impossible
d'imprimer.

n'a servi à rien.
J'ai ensuite réinstallé cups (avec apt-get), et toujours impossible
d'imprimer.

qui marchait hier, il ne se passe rien;

bon groupe? Actuellement, il appartient au groupes suivants:

uid=108(cupsys) gid=113(lpadmin)
groupes=113(lpadmin),7(lp),20(dialout),107(scanner)

Merci d'avance

Przejście z sterownika ide do libata

Witam,

#rescue root=/dev/sda3 combined_mode=ide

a tu to samo dalej montuje jako hda. Więc co trzeba zrobić, aby instalator
do istniejącego dysku ATA użył sterownika libata i pokazywał dysk jako sda?

No se...
¿Alguna idea?

He Googleado y las he visto de todos los colores. Parece que sea de driver,

Hola lista

2008-02-13 Thread [EMAIL PROTECTED]
wenas a [EMAIL PROTECTED]

socket options = SO_KEEPALIVE TCP_NODELAY SO_RCVBUF=8192
SO_SNDBUF=8192

Re: SAMBA+LDAP

En LDAP tenes que cambiar el campo
sambaPwdMustChangehttp://samba.cel.gob.sv/phpldapadmin/schema.php?server_id=0view=attributesviewvalue=sambaPwdMustChangepara

2008-02-13 Thread Keny Schmeling - Ti Slw
Aproveitando o gancho

/etc/nsswitch.conf:

passwd: files ldap
group: files ldap
shadow: files

vmware-tools no link
http://www.guiadohardware.net/kurumin/download/vmware-tools-windows.iso.zip
2) Baixar o vmware-workstation trial e criar suas máquina
virtuais/instalar o vmwar-tools. Desinstalar o vmware-workstation e
instalar o vmware-player.

criar máquinas virtuais/instalar o vmware-tools e rodar via
vmware-console.
2 Gb ram.

Veja estes links:
http://www.guiadohardware.net/tutoriais/usando-vmware-player/
http://www.guiadohardware.net/tutoriais/vmware-server/

This is a tool which allows displaying texts containing thousands of

dynamically. It is recommended to use this tool with filterm(1) tool,
i.e. by executing 'filterm - dynafont' command or 'filterm -

if you are not using framebuffer.
  .
The tool works with UTF8-compatible applications, i.e. lynx(1).
There are problems with 8-bit only applications.

Again, this is needed for the Linux console, which is limited with a
character map of 512 characters. Or you can use the font LatArCyrHeb-16 .

 Hi Adrian,

Ah I see so we're dealing with apples and oranges here.

Unfortunately yes. Someone probably has written a script but I
wouldn't know where to find it.

I am happy to post my tables script and you can use that as the basis
  of yours if you like.

Thank you, that would be great.

No worries. Mine was based heavily on MonMotha's firewall script,
Modified to suit my purposes and needs. - You will need to edit it as
well but that should be trivial. 2 network cards, plact the IP
adresses of your clients to access the net in the ALLOWED_INET_CLIENTS
variable and your LAN_IP range, set your network interfaces and
comment out the port forwarding stuff.

This script supports ingress and egress filtering. It will drop any
packets from or to the Internet with private IP addresses. Only open
the holes you need and you will be safer.
This script is a little slow for me to load because of all the
modprobes at the start. As soon as I got it working I dropped work on
it never got back to tidy it up.

But it should give you an idea on what you can do.

When it's a multifile pdf that you want to mainly read and just annotate along
the way, gimp is not a viable option.

One other problem with most anotators BTW is that they don't change the file
but store the changes somewhere else, which means that they are dependent on
where the file resides and what it's name is, which makes it hard to send the
annotations.

KDE doesn't start after Xfce installation

2008-02-13 Thread Jose Rodriguez
Hi

Being really scared of how KDE 4 looks like I'm trying to be
proactive and started looking for alternatives.

After installing Xfce I can't start KDE, though. I don't use any
display manager, and this is what I get when invoking startkde:

xsetroot: unable to open display ''
xset: unable to open display
xsetroot: unable to open display ''
startkde: starting up...
ksplash: cannot connect to X server
xprop: unable to open display ''
kdeinit: aborting. $DISPLAY is not set
ERROR: couldn't attach to DCOP server
startkde: shutting down
startkde: running shutdown scripts
xprop: unable to open display ''
startkde: done

Before this I used to launch KDE by just using startx and not
having a .xinitrc file. Only if I wanted to experiment with
exotic window managers I used it. Now, if I don't have this file I
get into Xfce automatically when starting X. If I have it and
specify KDE it doesn't work either.

I looked at the default places where (according to man) startx
looks at and couldn't figure out what's telling it to launch Xfce
(and perhaps stopping KDE to start?).

Some hints?

Jose

Yes, one of my requirements (portability) meant that I could see the
(annotated) PDF on different machines/architectures *without additional

Firewall suggestions?

probably you should have tried to solve this problem instead of
creating a new problem over the top. Whatever caused the first problem

working.

When I was recompiling the alsa-driver, it told me that the sound is unmated

Just use iptables for a firewall. Google around. You can start off
with something like this:
http://easyfwgen.morizot.net/gen/index.php

Squid is a good http/https/ftp cache and proxy.

ClamAV is a good antivirus.

Yes. I tried to recompile because of missing sound suddenly for unknown
reason.

When I was recompiling the alsa-driver, it told me that the sound is unmated

In alsamixer, there's no MM for each volume bars. I have tried to ajust

What should I do to fix this issue, or how to unmute the sound?

In alsamixer, look at the bottom of the volume bars. If it says MM
there, type M to unmute. The volume can be adjusted independently of
whether the channel is muted.

Did the sound stop working with the new driver? Or you tried to
recompile because of missing sound?

e2fsck -c to check for bad blocks

2008-02-13 Thread Haines Brown
I gather one can use the e2fsck with -c option to have it call
/sbin/badblocks to report bad blocks on an unmounted partition.

1. Although the -c option causes fsck to use badblocks to identify any
bad blocks present, does e2fsck then proceed to use this information to
fix corruption as usual? That is, how does

  # e2fsck -cy /dev/sda1

differ from simply:

  # e2fsck -y /dev/sda1

2. If badblocks is non-destructive, why does the targeted filesystem
have to be unmounted?

3. While e2fsck is run on an unmounted file system, the man page says,
If this [-c] option is specified twice, then the bad block scan will be
done using a non-destructive read-write test. Does this specified
twice simply mean -cc? If the test is non-destructive, can it be run
on a mounted filesystem? I assume not, but wanted to be sure.

4. Both badblocks and e2fsck -c can identify bad blocks as part of a
check of hard disk viability. Is the difference only that while
badblocks just reports bad blocks, e2fsck -c actually goes ahead and
tries to fix them?

The login credentials are your email address and email password. Are
you suggesting that using dhcp to get an ip address from the westell
modem is illegal and cause for verizon to take some punitive action upon
you and 'break your connection'? PPPOE is only needed if the westell is
configured to not login/authenticate to the network. Otherwise, your

authenticate to the pppoe network by entering you credentials in its web

specified twice, then the bad block scan will be done using a
non-destructive read-write test.

 1. Although the -c option causes fsck to use badblocks to identify any
bad blocks present, does e2fsck then proceed to use this information to
fix corruption as usual? That is, how does

   # e2fsck -cy /dev/sda1

 differ from simply:

   # e2fsck -y /dev/sda1

Yes, it does fix it. they are added to the bad block inode

 2. If badblocks is non-destructive, why does the targeted filesystem
 have to be unmounted?

Does it have to be? What does -f say? fsck always complains if the fs
is mounted.

Note that in general it is not safe to run e2fsck on mounted
filesystems. The only exception is if the -n option is specified, and
-c, -l, or -L options are not specified. However, even if it is safe
to do so, the results printed by e2fsck are not valid if the
filesystem is mounted. If e2fsck asks whether or not you should
check a filesystem which is mounted, the only correct answer is
‘‘no’’. Only experts who really know what they are doing should
consider answering this question in any other way.

Badblocks may be non-destructive, but adding the found blocks to the
inode may be bad. You don't know what fsck will do other than running
badblocks.

I assume not, but wanted to be sure.

correct.

 4. Both badblocks and e2fsck -c can identify bad blocks as part of a
check of hard disk viability. Is the difference only that while
badblocks just reports bad blocks, e2fsck -c actually goes ahead and
 tries to fix them?

correct.

Ipcop is a good choice too, but i can not understand why you need

  Greetings!

It seems the time has come to build a dedicated

I have a P-II HP box that was a pretty solid performer
that I think will do for the hardware. (Agree/disagree?)

I need some suggestions for the firewall software,
running on Debian, of course! No sense reinventing the
  wheel.

I need something that either includes http/ftp proxy or
something else that will provide that service. Also
socks 4/5 and probably a virus/adware scanner too.

Thanks for any suggestions and/or pointers to recent
  resources on the subject!

Evince got form support in 2.20, and was originally supposed to get
annotation support at the same time. Unfortunately, that was pushed
back, and according to the roadmap[1], it is now scheduled for 2.24
(due this fall). In the meantime, I believe Adobe Reader supports
annotations and there is a native Linux version.

just tried to install Adobe Reader 7 from their web site

but got errors when running Alien

However I see from http://www.bxlug.be/en/articles/128 that I can use
debian-marillat sources - does anybody use acroread from there for
 *editting* PDFs?

I've been using the acroread from Marrilat's archive for a few years
and it works well. I only need to enter data into pdf forms and print
them so I have been using evince for the last month or so with good
results.
