Hola Sergi, Access denied sembla més aviat un problema de permisos del recurs Samba remot, no pas de l'usuari de la teva màquina. Si amb root també et diu access denied, potser el problema és que cal contrasenya o no hi tens accés... Pots provar amb -v (verbose) per veure què et diu. Bonjour, j'ai une petite question concernant les MIBs SNMP sur Debian. Plus exactement sur les valeurs renvoyées par IfHighSpeed et ifSpeed Exemple : ifHighSpeed.1 = Gauge32: 10 ifHighSpeed.2 = Gauge32: 10 ifHighSpeed.3 = Gauge32: 10 ifHighSpeed.4 = Gauge32: 10 ifHighSpeed.5 = Gauge32: 10 ifHighSpeed.6 = Gauge32: 10 ifHighSpeed.7 = Gauge32: 10 ifSpeed.1 = Gauge32: 1000 ifSpeed.2 = Gauge32: 1000 ifSpeed.3 = Gauge32: 1000 ifSpeed.4 = Gauge32: 1000 ifSpeed.5 = Gauge32: 1000 ifSpeed.6 = Gauge32: 1000 ifSpeed.7 = Gauge32: 1000 Il s'agit d'interface Gigabit. Ce que je ne comprends pas c'est la valeur renvoyée par le ifHighSpeed, en effet : 1 Mbit/s = 10^6 10 * 10^6 = 10 Mbit/s ? Tandis que sur un switch cisco : ifHighSpeed.10129 = Gauge32: 1000 1000 * 10^6 = 1Gbit/s J'en déduis que l'interface est à 1Gbit/s Il me semblait que c'était standardisé ? je ne comprends pas les valeurs renvoyées par Debian. Je l'ai réinstallé avec une autre méthode que la 1ère, vu via Google. (il faut que je la retrouve) Le plugin Flash refonctionne bien avec tous navigateurs. Je prends donc toute explication claire sur la façon *propre* de customiser l'ordre de démarrage des daemons avec ce nouveau système... La façon propre me semble être de modifier les entêtes LSB. Puis de lancer update-rc.d sur le script pour recalculer les dépendances. Pour ton problème, et comme proposé sur le wiki, tu peux déjà vérifier le graphe de dépendances : aptitude install insserv graphviz /usr/share/insserv/check-initd-order -g boot.dot dotty boot.dot Les nœuds ronds, les flèches vertes et les flèches jaunes représentent des dépendances pour des services qui ne sont pas installés sur ta machine. Les services précédés d’un $ sont virtuels : il n’y a pas de script correspondant ; ils sont explicités dans /etc/insserv.conf et dans la page de man de insserv. Tu dois voir que tout est lancé dans le bonne ordre (nslcd après $network). Et pour nslcd et autofs, les dépendances m’ont l’air correctes. Et donc, reste ta seconde idée : « le réseau est trop long à démarrer »… Sauf que, si je ne me trompe pas, /etc/init.d/neworking lance et attend ifup -a qui lance et attend dhclient qui ne part en tâche de fond que lorsque l’interface est configurée. Donc, à moins que ton interface soit configurée différemment, le réseau doit être fonctionnel quand nslcd est lancé. Si je n’ai pas été clair ou convaincant, tu peux vérifier la séquence de boot à partir des n° de liens S* dans /etc/rc?.d/ (en fait, tu dois même avoir networking en rcS et nslcd en rc2, non ? donc networking forcément avant nslcd). Bonjour, voici le setup: . un serveur avec des machines virtuelles kvm, reseau 10.0.70.1 pour le serveur, 10.0.70.[11|12|...|] pour les VM. . deux réseaux OpenVPN 10.99.3.1 (serveur VPN) et 10.99.3.18 (client VPN) J'ai paramétré libvirtd+tls de manière à ce qu'il n'écoute que sur l'adresse 10.0.70.1 Le problème est que libvirt ne démarre pas si cette adresse n'existe pas et comme c'est lui qui la créée en créant le network des VM, c'est pas cool ;-) Ce que je voudrai: libvirtd+tls démarre en écoutant 127.0.0.1 le port étant 16514 et iptables redirige les requêtes du port 16540 IP 10.0.70.1 vers 127.0.0.1 J'ai donc créé les règles suivantes, sachant que je me connecte en VPN sur le réseau serveur, forcément ;-), et que celui ci est parfaitement fonctionnel. [Un peu HS] Récupération de données accid entellement supprimées
Bonjour, J'ai un soucis avec le PC d'un ami, il a accidentellement supprimer des fichiers contenant des informations importantes. Bien sur, la derniere sauvegarde date d'il y a 6 mois et est donc inutile ! Bonjour, J'ai un petit soucis pour monter des disques USB Western Digital Elements de 1.5Gio et 2Gio en NTFS. A ver, el rename que solemos utilizar en debian es en realidad [1]prename, que viene con el paquete 'perl'. Digo el solemos, porque '/usr/bin/rename' utiliza alternatives, y puede apuntar a otros programas, y en distribuciones no Debian funcionan de manera diferente. Resumiendo, lo que quieres realmente (o lo que entiendo que quieres) se llama prename y es un simple script en [2]perl. Me estoy volviendo un poco loco con este tema. Saludos y gracias por adelantado. Parece que tienes desconexiones y reconexiones sin causa aparente. Empieza a mirar lo sencillo, cambiando el cable de red e intenta forzar todo lo forzable (tarjeta de red, router o switch) a la velocidad que desees utilizar, ya sea con mii-tool o con eth-tool. Definitivamente tiene que ser un problema de hardware, ayer instalé ubuntu 10.10 para descartar que fuese cosa de debian, he dejado el host en marcha y esta mañana ha amanecido con las conexiones entrantes bloquedadas, he ido físicamente a la máquina y he visto en el gdm que el reloj del sistema está desconfigurado, se ha quedado en las 2:53. EL sistema no se ha bloqueado entero y he podido reiniciar desde el propio gdm. Ahora me toca buscar qué pieza puede estar fallando... Bien, lo primero es que remuevas cualquier cosa relacionada con nvidia, usa synaptic para ello, si tienes algún paquete roto abres una consola y ejecutas: aptitude -f install si la primera solución que te de aptitude no te va entonces presionas N, la idea es que te ayude a remover lo que mas puedas, luego si das Y. (Pregunta si no entendiste esto) Después vas a la página de nvidia, descargas el driver, el 260 creo que es el current. Para probar con otro cliente de correo configura una cuenta de tipo IMAP4 para que no descargue el mensaje localmente, se trata de ver si se corta igualmente la conexión. Bueno, he configurado hoy en Kmail, y he podido descargar el adjunto sin problemas. En cuanto pueda probare con claws, pero por lo que he leido, parece algo propio de icedove Estoy pensando en varios posibles culpables: 1/ Cliente de correo 2/ Servidor Gmail 3/ Cortafuegos/router No se, con las poquitas pruebas que he hecho, parece algo relativo al cliente. Listeros: Antes de preguntarles lo siguiente, ya investigue en la red mediante google para resolver el siguiente dilema, pero la verdad es que no encuentro la respuesta. He seguido los pasos descritos en varios manuales y varios post pero no funciona lo que quiero. Instale apache2 y yambien mysql, instale phpmyadmin pero cuando intento ingresar, me lanza el siguiente error: #2002 - The server is not responding (or the local MySQL server's socket is not correctly configured) Yo no se donde esta el socket o tal vez soy muy socket (zoquete). ¿Alguien tendra la idea y la paciencia para explicarme un poco?. Debian or Mint for Games?
Hi: Last night at the 2600 group I managed to score a deal on some basic hardware, though not all that impressive, a major leap forward for my desktop. Anyways; I have been a Debian fan for quite awhile but I do believe there are different distros for different things. My roomate has been raving about LinuxMint 10 and since I may be reinstalling my OS I was giving it consideration. I am thinking of switching to a 64bit OS only because I may soon upgrade over the 4GB RAM cap on 32bits. I also use the system for basic all around system and run an sshd server. So question being is there really any advantages to Mint in the gaming arena over the capabilities of Debian itself? Really logic tells me GNU is GNU, and a personally configured system is always better, but not knowing my way around the Linux gaming world esp. Sound and other paraphernalia (mice, joysticks etc.) can be said to work out-of-the-box on virtually any modern distro. Therefore, your decisive step will be to determine which graphics card you have and which driver(s) it can use. The Frames Per Second you'll be able to achieve depend entirely on that. Some recent video drivers will require a fairly recent kernel, which may be a problem for lenny, but not that much of a problem in squeeze. Some will only have 2D hardware acceleration. I've personally been able to install fast-paced first-person-shooters both from the Debian repositories and from downloaded installers, but was forced in both cases to use the proprietary ATI video driver (fglrx) to make them work. There is a very good gaming DVD made by Sven-Hendrik Haase you can download from http://live.linux-gamers.net/?s=download and burn it. It's an Arch-linux-based live distro and it can give you, in advance and without needing to install anything, a rough overview of what you can expect from linux in the gaming department and what potential issues you may run into. I've personally tried it and can recommend it whole-heartedly. I took the risk because this was a dedicated install which I was willing to trash, I wouldn't have risked that on my main system. Buffer Bloat, and what to do about it in Debian
After a Slashdot entry, I discovered an interesting series of blog posts by Jim Gettys. The series starts http://gettys.wordpress.com/2010/10/02/first-puzzle-piece/ (unlike Slashdot which linked to a random place in the middle). I checked out my txqueuelen in my desktop (its one interface is set 100) and my server/router (both interfaces are set to 1000) Both are running Debian Squeeze - with the desktop getting its ip info via dhcp (using dnsmasq on the server) where as the server/router has its ip address aquired via dhcp on the wan side from my ISP, and is static on the home lan side. I can obviously (at least according to one of the blog entries) change the txqueuelen manually to some other value, but how do you set such entries permenantly in Debian - and what is controlling that value - why are they different between my server and desktop? With drive write issues, have you ruled out hardware? A bad hard disk controller on your motherboard or failures with RAM, Buses, or the Proc could all be culprits... Do you have a way to swap parts with known goods, friends in a user or LUG group maybe that can loan compatible hardware for troubleshooting??? I was having horrible freeze ups awhile back, completely intermittent, I though PSU, Wall Current, RAM. I was swapping stuff left and right. Turned out PSU test fine, all the right digits and steady supply. Ended up having to replace Proc Mainboard. Tried swapping out both ways and only clean fix was both... Stable, Testing, and Unstable. As it stands, untill Squeeze is declared stable... Lenny is Stable Squeeze is Testing Sid is Unstable When Squeeze becomes Stable, Lenny is Moved to Old Stable, and Testing takes on the name designated for stable version 7 to be released in 2013.. Sid is the same as unstable and that never changes... I'm not extremely experienced with dist-upgrades but to my knowledge, you want to apt-get clean apt-get update apt-get upgrade *then* change your repositories to testing apt-get clean apt-get update dist-upgrade I think that's the general process; TeddyB

Where Is the List of Installed Packages?
I have a frustrating situation. I had a RAID go out on me and require rebuilding. It's mostly rebuilt and all my data is intact, but not all the settings and config info and program files have been copied over yet. And, while I have to rebuild that RAID, which is my back up -- well, you can predict the rest. That's when a system went down on me. It was sometime last night and now I can't even get video on the monitor for a POST, so the mobo is fried. I do have a system I can transfer this one to, however, there's one problem: The new system uses SATA and the old drivers are PATA. Fortunately, I can run a PATA drive on the new system, but it's going to be easier if I don't boot off it for now. I can simply re-install Debian with no trouble, the only issue is that I don't have the up-to-date list of all the packages installed on the old PATA drive. I can, though, plug it in and read it as a data drive. So where on that drive can I find the list of installed packages? Thank you!
