I guess English is not your native language. There is a German-only Q&A

Hellow Pocket,

Gmane is good to reading emails of mailing lists like as
debian-user@l.d.o. Also if you want to post someting, you can do that
via Gmane.

For now i am reading emails by Gmane (Gnome Evolution). And i am
writing in Gmane (Gnome Evolution).

If you use Gmane, actually you will be free from SMTP issues.

I live in the countryside of South Korea. And using SK Telecom via
mobile. The mobile is my INTERNET Router by hot-spot (Device: LG V30

And my maximum usage are 2 Gigabytes data per month. If i reach 2
Gigabytes, my download speeds decrease. Just decrease, not stop.

And the total charges are 59900 Won per month.

Again, i just normal user in South Korea. And i do not know about

OK. This is same story. Currently i'm running ibus under Gnome Wayland.

However i did not launch /usr/libexec/ibus-wayland. Though my
XDG_SESSUIN_TYPE is "wayland":

soyeomul@yw-1130:~$ env | grep XDG_SESSION
XDG_SESSION_DESKTOP=gnome
XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland
XDG_SESSION_CLASS=user
soyeomul@yw-1130:~$

soyeomul@yw-1130:~$ ps -ax | grep ibus-wayland
  14200 pts/2S+ 0:00 grep ibus-wayland
soyeomul@yw-1130:~$

If so, what is this ibus-wayland for?
Already i do type as wayland without ibus-wayland.

Seriously, i'm curious about the purpose of this ibus-wayland package.

Searching for IMAP is good with Gmail web interface, i think. If you
have web browser such as mozilla firefox, chromium browser. Try to
gmail, just with web browser. It is not bad in my experience. And also i
am Debian user (Debian 11 Bullseye under Chromebook).

As you know, Gmail is good with UTF-8 support / Searching / Labeling.

I did mean that 10 years of security updates.

I have experience both Ubuntu and Debian. Google cloud vm is running
Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (+ESM). Then my desktop is Debian 11 under Chromebook.

Ubuntu's advantage is 10 years.

So i prefer Ubuntu LTS for cloud/server.

That seems some technical issue. However i have no skills to repair that
C level program.

Actually i have no trouble with current sSMTP. Both Gmail and yw-1204
does not break about this matter (verify certificate). So for a while
i'll keep this state. It means that i will continue to use the sSMTP.

Sorry for late. And thank you very so much for your explanation.

Again thank you tomas and your time^^

bts command `send-unmatched'

2018-08-15 Thread Byung-Hee HWANG (황병희, 黃炳熙)
When i type command by email as follows:

send-unmatched old|-2
send-unmatched [old|-2]

Then BTS server tell me "Unknown command or malformed arguments to
command." with both above commands.

Yes, i'm now translating /Bugs/server-request
[https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-request.en.html].

Is that dead command? Or am i someting wrong?

Dear Stefan, deloptes and Michael,

My meant is that 100% rules/policy is not easy to keep for FSF-like Free
Software by the definition. The base my mind is for FOSS things. Only in real
life i have some trouble because my country Korea is still under MS-Windows
softwares also my shop use Windows XP for work.

My chromebook(Codename: Alex) is now charging. According to my three days test,
Crouton is enough to use. That is easy to install.

Otherewise you should go to chromium project (chrome os discuss forum[1]). In

As you said, i have to prepare proper chromebook to run Debian Linux (Stretch

too small to edit wml files for translation, plus i need real keyboard.
