Detalhe : No linux, esses problemas nao aconteceram comigo ou talvez nao tenha experimentado direito, rtf é raro no meu sistema. openoffice 2.0 i doc format
no witam mógłby mi ktos powiedzieć dlaczego openoffice zapisuje doc format jako plik dwa razy większy niż windowsowy MS Word przykładowo napisałem sobie jakis tam dokument i zapisując go pod Linuxem w word xp format ( czy coś podobnego) zajmowal on 110 KB a to samo zapisując w Windows (dokładnie to samo) dokument taki zajmował 58 KB. :) pozdrawiam -- Sarge Debian User: WartanatWartandotorg kadu:3735326 Registered Linux User : 406139 |PLUG :1966491030 GnuPG 1024D/4D3C3EA1 EC89 89F3 1422 FB34 16EF 01FA E4DC CC77 4D3C 3EA1 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Re: OpenOffice 2.0 error messages
Hi Rodney, I found this page ( http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2005/10/msg03046.html ) while researching the Error loading BASIC of document error. You describe exactly the problem I am having (apart from the fact I am using Windows XP) and I was wondering if you had managed to resolve the issue? I created an admin install of OO 2.0 for remote deployment and while the dialog.xlc file exists on my admin install, I cannot find it on the test machine in the application data/user folder or any other folder after an install. Can you help? OOo 2.0 will never be in Sarge because Sarge is the stable release - all it gets is bugfixes and security updates, not new versions of the software. For a desktop system (which I assume this is) you're probably better off migrating to Etch anyway. It's stable enough for the vast majority of desktop users who don't need an ultra-stable release like Sarge. Etch is certainly a lot more stable, IMO, than many other distros' so-called stable releases. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Re: openoffice 2.0 no Debian 3.1 usando Backports.org
André Felipe Linux blog http://www.techforce.com.br Meu arquivo /etc/apt/preferences ficou assim: Package: * Pin: release a=stable Pin-Priority: 800 Package: * Pin: release a=testing Pin-Priority: 101 Package: * Pin: release a=unstable Pin-Priority: 99 Package: * Pin: release a=experimental Pin-Priority: 9 Package: * Pin: release a=sarge-backports Pin-Priority: 200 Package: openoffice.org-l10n-pt-br Pin: release a=sarge-backports Pin-Priority: 999 Package: openoffice.org-gnome Pin: release a=sarge-backports Pin-Priority: 999 Package: openoffice.org Pin: release a=sarge-backports Pin-Priority: 999 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Problem is I run self compiled QT/KDE and openoffice.org-kde depends on debian's qt and kde libraries, something I don't want my system contaminated with of course. So I searched for the literal package responsible for openoffice kde intergration which (at this moment) is openoffice.org-kde_2.0.0-5_i386.deb and copied the files (/usr/lib/openoffice/program/* and /usr/share/lintian/*) in their respective places and whoops... KDE integration and small UI font was a fact! :) Hope this helps everybody looking for this solution a bit further. Grtz. To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Saludos!! OO2.0 .debs installed! (was: OpenOffice 2.0 install from .deb?)
Opus wrote: So, how do I get the OpenOffice 2.0 .deb files installed on my system? Many thanks to Steef, Felix, and Anthony, all of whom replied that dpkg -i filename.deb as root was the answer. It worked perfectly and I now have OpenOffice.org 2.0 running on my Debian Sarge system with 2.6 kernel. Because there were several (okay, a lot) of .deb files involved, I actually used dpkg -i -R directory_name and it just worked. OpenOffice 2.0 install from .deb?
I downloaded the Linux binaries for OpenOffice 2.0 from OpenOffice.org and found that they are in RPMs. I managed to figure out that I needed to install alien, which I did, and have now converted the RPMs to DEBs, but I don't know what to do with the DEB files. I'm running Sarge with a 2.6 kernel and I do updates using Aptitude about once a week. Re: openoffice 2.0 fail on start (debian unstable)
Thanks, Rene. I found the l10n-zh-cn package was deselected by dselect some time before. So I apt-get it again, and it's ok. I often use oowriter to open MS doc files. The default chinese font used in those docs is SimSun, which is mapped to some unrecognized font in oo, making many chars displayed as blanks. However package ttf-microsoft-simsun (and some other ttf-microsoft-) are no longer available. For the moment I can setup a font rule in options dialog mapping SimSun to AR PL SungtiL GB(oo default for zh cn) to view the docs. However there is no bold or italic variants for this font. regards, yzhh -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi, yzhh wrote: Thanks for all your answers. There is an update today in unstable dist. I installed it and all things seem ok now. Only chinese chars displayed badly. But I think You are using sid, why are you not looking in the BTS? The problem was described there: see http://bugs.debian.org/335262... it's because the l10n-zh-cn pakage have not been updated yet. Well, it should've been updated in the same run if you did apt-get (dist-)upgrade. But you of course may want to install appropriate fonts. If you can tell me which fonts zh-cn and/or zh-tw users normally use I can Suggest that package(s) from -l10n-zh-*. Regards, Rene signature.asc Description: Digital signature
