Netbeans 6 no inicia - error Can't load library: /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre/lib/ext/libjava-access-bridge-jni.s

2009-05-29 Thread Calabaza
Hola amigos, quisera preguntarles algo:
Esta mañana me encontre con el siguiente problema,
el netbeans 6 no me inicia, al correrlo en la terminal,
nada, ni un mensaje de error, mirando el fichero:

$ cat /home/calabaza/.netbeans/6.0/var/log/messages.log | grep rror

java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Can't load library:
/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre/lib/ext/libjava-access-bridge-jni.so

Buscando en google encuentro esto:
http://groups.google.com/group/linux.debian.bugs.dist/browse_thread/thread/1d59405d2fb96e3d/fc66230f1b0de70c?lnk=raotpli=1

y al final veo que es un problema de un link simbolico,
o que no esta instalado el paquete: libaccess-bridge-java-jni
luego veo si lo tengo instalado:

$ dpkg -l | grep jni
ii libaccess-bridge-java-jni 1.26.0-1 Java Access Bridge for
GNOME (jni bindings)

y bueno, lo tengo instalado, entonces trato de crear el link simbolico:
# ln -s /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre/lib/ext/libjava-access-bridge-jni.so
/usr/lib/jni/libjava-access-bridge-jni.so
ln: creating symbolic link
«/usr/lib/jni/libjava-access-bridge-jni.so»: El fichero ya existe

y bueno, ahi ya me quede perdido,

He buscado correr el reportbug pero algun extraño motivo tambien se
queda bloqueado.

Alguien tiene el mismo problema?
Esto puede ser un bug del netbeans-ide?

Desde ya muchas gracias.

You can search the archive via packages.debian.org, for the contents
of packages. Searching for libXt.so.6 found this:

http://packages.debian.org/cgi-bin/search_contents.pl?word=libXt.so.6searchmode=searchfilescase=insensitiveversion=stablearch=i386

set of four packages, any of which should solve your problem.

i'm guessing you have nedit-dmotif installed. i.e. libXm is the motif

might need some commercial motif package (or try compiling open motif

Try setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH to /usr/X11R6/lib.
'export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/X11R6/lib' in bash.

I don't remember how smart the dynamic linker was in those days. Maybe
putting /usr/X11R6/lib in /etc/ld.so.conf and running 'ldconfig' will
help, also.

acroread can't load library libXt.so.6

1999-05-03 Thread Matt Garman

Hello:

I installed the acroread package. I've installed and removed it
before, in the past, with no trouble, but this time, I get the
following error:

/usr/lib/Acrobat3/Reader/intellinux/bin/acroread: can't load \
library 'libXt.so.6'

(and that's all on one line).

I did a locate libXt.so and here's what shows up:

/usr/lib/libc5-compat/libXt.so.6
/usr/lib/libc5-compat/libXt.so.6.0
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.so
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.so.6
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.so.6.0

And these paths are pointed to in my /etc/ld.so.conf:

crh3019:~% less /etc/ld.so.conf
/usr/X11R6/lib/Xaw3d
/usr/X11R6/lib
/usr/lib/libc5-compat
/lib/libc5-compat
/usr/local/lib

And I also tried running ldconfig as root before running the
program, no dice.

Any ideas?

thanks,
Matt

I fixed the libXt.so problem -- but now acroread seg faults. Does
anyone know anything about this?

BTW, I fixed the libXt.so.6 problem by explicitly setting the
LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable and exporting it (and it has the same values
as the entries in my /etc/ld.so.conf file, I don't see why the
environment variable should make a difference.)

Thanks again!

Can't load library libXt.so.6

1998-12-20 Thread MarcusHeléne

Hi,

I have a problem that some people have had before. Error message "can't
load library libXt.so.6" when trying to execute for ex
netscape. I searched the list and found previous messages on the problem,
and also a solution:
check to see if directory /usr/X11R6/lib is present in /etc/ld.so.conf
and then run ldconfig -v

I have done that, after checking that libXt.so.6 actually exists in
the directory.

However, that didn't solve the problem, so now I have no clues left.
Is there anybody who can think of any more reasons to get
this error message?

TIA

Which version of Netscape?
If it is libc5 perhaps you need xlib6 from the oldlibs section.

FYI: There are two versions of 4.5 on ftp.netscape.com, one is
compiled with libc5 and the other with libc6. The libc6-compiled
version has 'glibc' in its name and is available from a 'development'

That's because Suse is using libc5 and Debian is using the newer glibc.
Install Netscape using the Debian installer and grab the older libraries
from section oldlibs, or download the glibc version of Netscape from
their ftp.

Also,

Well, you probably should, even though this error doesn't mean that you
need to. Check your /etc/ld.so.conf file and make sure it contains
/usr/X11R6/lib
If it doesn't, then add the line and run 'ldconfig' as root. You might
then want to try to figure out what other directories should be in your
/etc/ld.so.conf and aren't; my (bo) system lists the following:
/usr/X11R6/lib/Xaw95
/usr/X11R6/lib
/usr/local/lib
/usr/lib/libc5-compat
/lib/libc5-compat
/usr/X11R5/lib
/usr/X11R6/lib/i486-linuxaout

I don't know how you'd go about constructing the list of what should be in
/etc/ld.so.conf, though. (a find for all dirs containing files ending in
'*.so' produces too many erroneous entries)

Hi!

Check a file called /etc/ld.conf. In it look for the line:

 /usr/lib/X11R6

 If the line:

/usr/lib/X11R5 is there, replace it with the line above.

Hope this helps - I had the same problem with Debian 1.2.

directories .../Xaw3d, .../Xaw95, .../neXtaw, and ... where ... stands
for /usr/X11R6/lib respectively. My /etc/ld.so.conf contains:

/usr/X11R6/lib/neXtaw
/usr/X11R6/lib/Xaw3d
/usr/X11R6/lib
/usr/X11R6/lib/Xaw95
/usr/lib/libc5-compat
/lib/libc5-compat
/usr/local/kde/lib
/usr/local/qt/lib
/usr/local/glide/lib

which means that the neXtaw version of libXaw will be prefered. If
none of the above directories is there, add them. If no library could
be found your xlib6 package is not correctly installed.

BTW: After adding directories to /etc/ld.so.conf run ldconfig.

can't load library

1997-01-15 Thread Ricardo Aler Mur
Hi,

I have the following problems. Probably they are related somehow.

1- When I try to execute fvwm (or fvwm2 or gwm) I get the error message:

fvwm: can't load library 'libXpm.so.4'

However, the library is where it is supposed to be
(/usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4 which is a s-link to libXpm.so.4.7)

2- When I try to execute metafont (mf), I get:

mf: can't load library 'libXt.so.6'

But the library is also there ... any ideas?

Solution to both questions:
Add /usr/X11R6/lib to /etc/ld.so.conf and run ldconfig -v

From the problems list:

1. Already reported as a bug: Can't find xlib6 so file.
Add /usr/X11R6/lib to /etc/ld.so.conf and run ldconfig.

This should fix your problems.

Luck,

Check to see that the path for these libraries are included in
/etc/ld.so.conf

Then run ldconfig -v and it should load them.

Check out your /etc/ld.so.conf, it should contain a line /usr/X11R6/lib
to make ld serach for libraries in that directory. If it doesn't, login in
as root, add the line and run ldconfig.

Re: can't load library libXt.so.6

1997-01-04 Thread Alex Chamberlain
I'm trying to install texbin (Debian 1.2 btw) and have run into the
 following error message:

 mf: can't load library libXt.so.6

I had exactly the same problem. The fix is to add /usr/X11R6/lib to
the list of directories in /etc/ld.so.conf. Then run /sbin/ldconfig as
root. This tells ld (the dynamic loader) to update its list of what
directories to search for shared libraries. For some reason Metafont,
among other programs, needs to be able to find the X libraries.

I tore my hair out over this one too, so don't feel stupid... 8-) I
figured it out only after a _very_ careful reading of the XFree86 Howto.

can't load library

1996-12-18 Thread Angel Leyva
Sorry to bother the entire list, but I need to ask someone.

I loaded some x games and am trying to run them. The error I am
getting states as follows:

xinvaders: can't load library 'libXmu.so.6'

I know that there is a library environment variable that needs to be
defined to the /usr/X11R6/lib but don't know what it is, nor do I know
how to set it in the bash environment. Any help would be appreciated.

If I am not correct, please show me what I am doing wrong.

Thanx

There appears to be a bug in 1.2 that leaves /usr/X11R6/lib out of
/etc/ld.so.conf . Your problem should be fixable by adding /usr/X11R6/lib
to the file, and running ldconfig (as root).
