GRUB sur disquette

Bonjour la liste,

Je suis nouveau sous linux et ai bien besoin d'aide. J'ai installé 
Debian/Sarge sur hdb3. Ensuite j'ai suivi les instructions trouvés à 
http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/4622 pour installer GRUB sur une 
disquette. Donc, maintenant je démarre à partir de la disquette et voici 
ce que ça donne:


grub root(hd1,2)
grub kernel /vmlinuz root=/dev/hdb3 ro
grub boot

et le système me répond:
VFS: Cannot open root device hdb3 or unknown-block(0,0)
Please append a correct root= boot option
Kernel Panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

Quel est le problème, et encore mieux, quelle est la solution?

Il te manquerait un initrd ? Vérifies dans /boot

Si c'est le cas, rajoute une ligne:

initrd  /boot/initrd.imgta-version-noyau
