É, desde que apliquei os patches de correções, não tive mais problemas. Verifiquei que tinha alguns problemas relacionados com alguns módulos de placas Intel, como i915 e snd_hda_intel nos changelogs. Provavelmente foi algum módulo que causou o problema. Valeu a força! O reboot é sempre normal, mas o desligamento de vez em quando agarra, ficando parado em uma mensagem Disabling non-boot CPUs. Cheguei a suspeitar que era o BLK (Big Kernel Lock) que estava causando o problema, mas mesmo após desabilitá-lo, o erro ocorria. Pesquisando na Internet, vi que poderia ser problema na BIOS da máquina, mas fiz testes usando o kernel anterior (2.6.36.2) e não ocorreram problemas durante o desligamento, o que me fez suspeitar do kernel 2.6.37. Alguém sabe se é algum bug no kernel 2.6.37 ou algo do tipo que esteja causando isso? O estranho é que o problema não ocorre toda vez que eu desligo a máquina, só de vez em quando. Meu notebook é um Dell Inspiron 1525. SO mais um pedido, digite como root: lsmod | grep snd_hda_intel quero saber se você usa esse modulo como driver de som. Algumas pessoas tem este tipo de problema ao usar o módulo acima citado. Mas será que é por causa desse módulo? Porque o problema só ocorre no kernel 2.6.37 e desde o 2.6.33 a máquina nunca tinha congelado no desligamento mesmo com o módulo ativo. Cheguei a suspeitar que era o BLK (Big Kernel Lock) que estava causando o problema, mas mesmo após desabilitá-lo, o erro ocorria. Pesquisando na Internet, vi que poderia ser problema na BIOS da máquina, mas fiz testes usando o kernel anterior (2.6.36.2) e não ocorreram problemas durante o desligamento, o que me fez suspeitar do kernel 2.6.37. Alguém sabe se é algum bug no kernel 2.6.37 ou algo do tipo que esteja causando isso? O estranho é que o problema não ocorre toda vez que eu desligo a máquina, só de vez em quando. Meu notebook é um Dell Inspiron 1525.
