Bug#68311: dstooltk

You said two months ago that you > were intending to adopt dstooltk{,-doc} - is this still the case? Yes, that's still the case. Basically I have a dstooltk deb ready, but it still needs a bit of tinkering. The idea is now to get it similar to octave, i.e. dstooltk, dstooltk-headers, dstooltk-static and dstooltk-doc, since a very useful capibility from dstool is to link in user supplied code and this was missing in John Lapeyre's package. The source can all go into the same package pool. I could do dstooltk-doc quite quickly. > Do you need a sponsor for this package? Yes I do. I'll have everything ready in a couple of days - at least before next Sunday. But I have not applied to the new maintainer scheme yet, I'll have to look at that, getting a signed GNUPG key and things like that. Bart

Bug#68311: dstooltk
Hi, I've been looking through packages that are in need of /usr/doc and /usr/man updates and that would benefit from Debian QA uploads, and dstooltk/dstooltk-doc were two of them. You said two months ago that you were intending to adopt dstooltk{,-doc} - is this still the case? Do you need a sponsor for this package? Thanks, -- Colin Watson [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I was going to do a QA upload of circlepack to fix /usr/doc and /usr/man problems, but I see you're already working on it, so I'll be happy to sponsor you instead. Bug#72217: netenv
Hi, Are you still in the process of adopting netenv? If you won't have time to upload in the near future, I'd like to do a QA upload to fix its FHS problems (/usr/doc and /usr/man). Thanks, -- Colin Watson [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Bug#91309: ITP: txt2html -- Text to HTML converter
package: wnpp severity: wishlist txt2html is a Perl program that converts plain text to HTML. It supports headings, lists, simple character markup, and hyperlinking, and is highly customizable. It recognizes some of the apparent structure of the source document (mostly whitespace and typographic layout), and attempts to mark that structure explicitly using HTML. the purpose for this tool is to provide an easier way of converting existing text documents to HTML format. txt2html can also be used to aid in writing new HTML documents, but there are probably better ways of doing that. License: txt2html comes with custom lisense, and to my judgement all of these requirements are met when distributing with Debian, so it should go to main -- License file is as follows: Copyright (c) 1994-2000 Seth Golub <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> All rights reserved. Bug#91297: RFA: bplay -- buffered wav player
Package: wnpp Severity: normal I hereby put the bplay package up for adoption. bplay is a nice little player for wav files (and some other formats I think) working with two threads. A thread for reading the file and a thread for playing the file. It has some bugs regarding syncronization problems and some problems with semafors. Trying to fix (or at least acknowledge) some of these bugs I realises that I have no wav-files on my computer neither have I compiled kernel modules for my sound card working with my present kernel. So it would be better if somebody else took over the package. -- Free beer får det bedste frem i en pingvin. http://peter.makholm.net/beer/

I talked with Adrian Bunk in debian-tetex-maint mailing list and we agreed to release this package separate from tetex-bin. License: Dvips itself is basically in public domain(part of it is GPL/LGPL'd). Bug#91266: ITP: fpm (Figaro's Password Manager)
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist From the README: Figaro's Password Manager is a program that allows you to securely store the passwords you use on the web. Features include: - Passwords are encrypted with the blowfish algorithm - Copy passwords or usernames to the clipboard - Copy passwords or usernames to the primary selection. (And paste them with a middle mouse button click) - If the password is for a web site, FPM can keep track of the URLs of your login screens and can automatically launch your browser. In this capacity, FPM acts as a kind of bookmark manager. - You can teach FPM to launch other applications, and optionally pass hostnames, usernames or passwords to the command line. - FPM also has a password generator that can choose passwords for you. It allows you to determine how long the password should be, and what types of characters (lower case, upper case, numbers and symbols) should be used. You can even have it avoid ambiguous characters such as a capital O or the number zero. fpm is released under the GNU GPL. -- Eric Gillespie, Jr. mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] <*> jabber:[EMAIL PROTECTED] "The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it." --George Bernard Shaw
