Bug#136310: libopenobex + obexftp works - with irda, too
I don't know why i had problems with IrDA. I just had to place the handy better, then it worked out-of-the box: flexmem -l So if you are interested, try the packages at http://people.debian.org/~erich/ - and consider maintaining them, it probably is gonna be few work. I don't have a handy to test them myself. Greetings, Erich

Bug#136515: RFA: robodoc
Package: wnpp Version: N/A; reported 2002-03-02 Severity: normal This package is in good health, with no bugs filed against it (or maybe nobody uses it :) I packaged it so I could use it myself, but have since found I am no longer using it and have no plans in the immediate future to do so. Nor have I been keeping up with upstream releases. There are both a new stable and new beta release at: http://download.sourceforge.net/robodoc/ If nobody adopts this right away, I will look at packaging one of the new releases (but at a very low priority on my list). Otherwise, they would be a good place for you to start if you want this package. Basically, if you use robodoc and care about it, or think you might like to use it and care for it, you're probably a better choice of maintainer for this than I am. Description: Medium-size opening books for crafty chess engine. Opening books that crafty use to evaluate the position during the game. . This is the medium version, occupying 13MB and containing +47500 games, computed until the 60th ply. You like to package chess game data for small,small-to-medium,medium and large opening books? Should this really be part of Debian? I guess that although we have some games in our distribution there once was a consensus that so large data packages should not be part of the main distribution because we already have 3-4 CDs and this would just bloat it and too few people are really interested in it. crafty-books-small is 500kB crafty-books-medtosmall is 1MB crafty-books-medium is 13MB I don't think these sizes make them too bloated, there are many packages that are much more than 13MB. OTOH, crafty-books-large would probably be 100MB large and I certainly don't want it to be part of the main distribution. I could hang it to my home page though. I would suggest you to package this crafty game and maybe the small variant to give a starting point and then point out somewhere that better/larger opening books can be downloaded on the internet. Until now, crafty shipped with a default opening book included. This wasted bandwidth though because everytime I made a change to the chess engine, the upload had to be for the whole package. Separating the opening books from the chess engine make the system more modular and save bandwidth to all people running woody/sid. -- Eric VAN BUGGENHAUT [EMAIL PROTECTED] pgpwNBrnNxPn3.pgp Description: PGP signature
Bug#136518: ITP: bochs - full intel emulator
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Bochs, pronounced BOX, has the logo think inside the bochs, and is already a very good alternative to the more commercial emulators we are all familiar with. It is a full emulator for the Intel hardware, and will even run on my Sparc, unlike other emulators which rely on Intel hardware to perform some of their functions. While bochs is still considered Beta software by its developers, it has come a long way in the short while I have been tracking the CVS archives, both building on and able to install a wide variety of OSs, and there is agreement to produce another point release soon. Once that release tarball is available, it is my intention to package it up for Debian. The license is LGPL, and the URL is http://bochs.sourceforge.net. Bug#136518: ITP: bochs - full intel emulator
This ITP has gotten to be a real hot potato.. On Sat, Mar 02, 2002 at 08:17:45PM -0500, Dale Scheetz [EMAIL PROTECTED] was heard to say: Bochs, pronounced BOX, has the logo think inside the bochs, and is already a very good alternative to the more commercial emulators we are all familiar with. This has already been ITPed (#78642), and I was told on IRC just today (a few hours ago) that the Debian maintainer of plex86 supposedly has binary packages that are going to be sponsored. (that suggests he's taking over the ITP from Goswin, who seems to have dropped off the face of the Earth temporarily) I have a reference to where you can find packages, but unfortunately..umm..I lost it *sheepish look*.
