Description : A library to determine the call-chain of a program

From the project description:
The primary goal of this project is to define a portable and efficient C
programming interface (API) to determine the call-chain of a program.
The API additionally provides the means to manipulate the preserved
(callee-saved) state of each call-frame and to resume execution at any
point in the call-chain (non-local goto). The API supports both local
(same-process) and remote (across-process) operation. As such, the API
is useful in a number of applications.

Additional information:
- Only the IA-64 architecture is currently supported. But it is not
excluded to support other arches like alpha and i386 in the future.
- The latest release is 0.9 and is a preversion of the 1.0 I intend to
  package.

At ircii source package i found:

If ircii and epic are ok with the license, the epic package needs a
update in the copyright file.

Package: wnpp
Version: unavailable; reported 2003-01-30
Severity: wishlist

  Package name: pythoncard
  Version : 0.7
Upstream Author : PythonCard Developers [EMAIL PROTECTED]
  URL : http://pythoncard.sourceforge.net/
  License : Python 2.2 License
  Description : PythonCard GUI Framework
PythonCard is a GUI construction kit for building cross-platform desktop
applications on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, using the Python language.
It is based on the Python binding for the WxWindows toolkit.

I realize the upstream author and license items are a bit shaky. I have
asked upstream to clarify both. I guess they'll either choose a
different license, modify the existing one so that it doesn't refer to
PSF (the Python Software Foundation) granting the license, or assign
copyright/ownership to PSF so that they can use the Python license
without changing it.

I intend to provide the following packages based on the pythoncard
source package:

   libpythoncard-python
   pythoncard-doc
   pythoncard-samples

Preliminary versions of these packages will be available shortly; email
me if you would like to see them.

I am widthdrawing my ITP for this package. Upstream isn't motivated
right now to document what it needs to for my package to be uploaded
(i.e. decide on a license of some sort, decide who owns copyright to the
code, etc.). Since in the six weeks since I packaged it, maybe one
person has downloaded the preliminary package, I don't think anyone will
miss it. :-(
