Bug#269112: ITA: pose -- PalmOS Emulator
Package: wnpp [I'm not sure if this should be an ITA. What's the correct title when a package has been removed from unstable, but has bugs pending and is still in stable?] The package description of pose is: An emulator for Palm Computing organizers. Requires a ROM file, which can be transferred from a physical Palm device, or downloaded from palm's website (if you sign a license agreement). POSE is still useful. The alternative is Palm's simulator, but there is no Linux version and its proprietary software. After applying some patches I made it compile with gcc 3.3 and libfltk1.1. This should cover the pending, and most important, issues with this package. Upstream is dead, regarding this package, but the community has been working and producing patches for POSE. I understand that working with dead upstream packages can be a problem, but since I use this program a lot I am willing to take its role, as far as Debian is concerned, and try to solve any future issue that might pop up. -- Lucas Wall [EMAIL PROTECTED] Buenos Aires, Argentina http://www.kadath.com.ar PGP 1024D/84FB46D6 5D25 528A 83AB 489B 356A 4087 BC9B 4733 84FB 46D6 signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
