Your message dated Fri, 28 Sep 2007 01:07:47 -0700 with message-id [EMAIL PROTECTED] and subject line real estate agents lists has caused the attached Bug report to be marked as done. This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with. If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith. (NB: If you are a system administrator and have no idea what I am talking about this indicates a serious mail system misconfiguration somewhere. Please contact me immediately.) Debian bug tracking system administrator (administrator, Debian Bugs database) ---BeginMessage--- Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist URL:http://oss.sgi.com/projects/pcp/ From the above URL: Performance Co-Pilot (PCP) is a framework and services to support system-level performance monitoring and performance management. The services offered by PCP are especially attractive for those tackling harder system-level performance problems. For example this may involve a transient performance degradation, or correlating end-user quality of service with platform activity, or diagnosing some complex interaction between resource demands on a single system, or management of performance on large systems with lots of moving parts. The news page mentioned that someone had made Debian packages, but the URL to them was broken. It might be worth looking into trying to find the packager and/or his/her packages. I haven't actually tried this software, but it looks cool, and the stuff from SGI is generally high-quality. There is also a neato looking GTK+ frontend at URL:http://k332.feld.cvut.cz/~lemming/projects/pcpmon.html that looks like it would also be worth packaging. ---End Message--- ---BeginMessage--- 1 million real estate agents on file. Bug#429513: netdude packages in debian
Hello Everybody. I'm just writing to let you know that I've spent some time trying to package the latest upstream version of Netdude. My effort is available at: http://fatal.se/pub/debian/netdude/ If anyone feel like helping out that would be great! See the TODO file at the same place for issues I've already identified (without even testing the package :P). If anyone of you who talked about adopting it still want to do so I'd happily prepare it for you and hand it over to you, since I'm not really that interested. Even if you don't have the time to do take on any bigger part in this right now I'd deeply appreciate if you could find the time to test and/or review the packages since I'm not very experienced when it comes to packaging libraries. I would also need to find a sponsor for this if anyone is willing to help out there, but I don't know if the plan is to remove Gtk+ 1.x before the next release and if I'll have time to port netdude to Gtk+ 2.x. -- Regards, Andreas Henriksson -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#444442: ITP: mail-spf-perl -- Perl implementation of Sender Policy Framework and Sender ID
David Paleino wrote: Julian Mehnle wrote: Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Julian Mehnle [EMAIL PROTECTED] * Package name: mail-spf-perl as per Debian Perl Policy, the package should be named libmail-spf-perl. You are probably referring to 4.2, Module Package Names: http://www.debian.org/doc/packaging-manuals/perl-policy/ch-module_packages.html#s-package_names | Perl module packages should be named for the primary module provided. | The naming convention for module Foo::Bar is libfoo-bar-perl. Packages | which include multiple modules may additionally include provides for | those modules using the same convention. The last sentence indicates that this paragraph really just talks about binary package names, not source package names, as only binary packages, not source ones, do Provide: other packages. This also allows existing source packages to be named mime-tools, soap-lite, and timedate, while their corresponding binary packages are conformingly named libmime-perl, libsoap-lite-perl, and libtimedate- perl. Thus I think it is perfectly legitimate to name the _source_ package mail-spf-perl. The source package would generate two binary packages: libmail-spf-perl and spf-tools-perl, the latter of which would ship the executables included with the Mail::SPF upstream package (currently spfquery and spfd). This could let you name your package mail-spf-perl: there's a discussion about this on [EMAIL PROTECTED] . Please take a look at the archives. (In two words: one could name the source package other than lib*-perl if it brings something other than the Perl Module -- as the spf-tools in this case -- but not everyone agrees) FWIW, I am the one who initiated that thread. You could join the Debian Perl Group, I am already a member of the DPG, thanks. Julian. signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.
