Bug#528461: ITP: silverstripe -- a flexible open source Content Management System
Quoting Andrew Mitchell (ajmi...@debian.org): > Package: wnpp > Severity: wishlist > Owner: Andrew Mitchell > > > * Package name: silverstripe > Version : 2.3.1 > Upstream Author : Silverstripe Limited > * URL : http://www.silverstripe.org/ > * License : BSD > Programming Lang: PHP > Description : a flexible open source Content Management System If that's meant to become the package's short description, I'd recommend: - dropping "open source". If the package is in Debian, it is free wrt DFSG so that become sirrelevant - dropping the leading article (discouraged by the developer's reference) - consider dropping "flexible" which is a matter of judgement whether it really is That leaves you with "Content Managemenbt System" only, which you might want to enhance to give information about what makes it special among the gazillion other CMS (please note that I have no clue about CMSI just feel there are tons of these, which might even be untrue..:-)) signature.asc Description: Digital signature

Bug#528273: twittare now on mentors
Hi, yesterday, I uploaded twittare_0.7.42-1_sources.changes to mentors.debian.net and posted the RFS to the mailing list. -nik signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
jak zarobic inwestujac 5 zł
Myslę, że to rzeczywiście można działać... Zainwestuj 5z, zyskaj duzo wiecej. Zamien 5 zl w calkiem pokazna sumke. Inwestujesz tylko 5 zl. Usiadz wygodnie i dokladnie przeczytaj... To bardzo wazne zebyo zrozumial wszystko dokladnie... To jest prostsze niz myslisz... Nie wierzysz? To oczywiste, kto da 15000 zl za nic? A jednak. OK. to zaczynamy, bo sie rozgadalem. Ten program dziala i niewazne z jakiego kraju jesteś albo w jakim przebywasz. To naprawde proste!!! Oto obecna lista: 1. Nr konta: 19 1050 1458 1000 0023 1736 5175 2. Nr konta: 88 1020 2964 6002 0039 6952 3. Nr konta: 37 1140 2017 4402 0931 4990 4. Nr konta: 70 1140 2004 3002 3527 8908 5. Nr konta: 53 1090 1838 0001 0675 9732 PAMIETAJ!!! " Tomasz Watorek , Warszawa "Czeoc. Tu Justyna! No cóz, co moge powiedziec?

Its complexity is half-way between the easy xml-light module and a full parsing of xml data. It is also very simple to updgrade existing code using xml-light in order to use xmlm. (e.g., we have arc4random available through libbsd.) however, the kernels in lenny and sid should be randomizing UDP source ports anyway, right? i mainly intended to package libbind for its message parsing functions, though. -- Robert Edmonds edmo...@debian.org signature.asc Description: Digital signature

Bug#528061: ITP: obexd -- OBEX client and server
Zitat von Filippo Giunchedi : On Sun, May 10, 2009 at 09:15:19PM +0200, Hendrik Sattler wrote: > The obexd is an attempt to unify all current OBEX based servers for No, it isn't. It's another implementation. Implementation of OBEX client and server as a D-Bus service providing high-level functionality. sounds better? Yes. :) > Linux and create a small, but powerful daemon. > > [taken from upstream http://www.bluez.org/obexd-01/] > > I'll package this under pkg-bluetooth > http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-bluetooth/packages/obexd/ What is the difference to obex-data-server? e.g. ods changed API between 0.3 and 0.4, bluez-gnome 1.8 supports ods 0.3 and obexd AFAICT. And upcoming kdebluetooth4 uses solid which require bluez 4.x and (latest) obex-data-server (that's what I read about it). Bluez-gnome 1.8 is "crippled" when not used with bluez 4.x. I doubt obexd runs with anything but bluez 4.x. And bluez 4.x is not in unstable, yet. Hmm. Also the two use different dbus org.openobex APIs which I'm currently not sure what is the recommended one, see http://www.mail-archive.com/openobex-us...@lists.sourceforge.net/msg01284.html That one gives no answers. I'm lazy comparing both APIs but they use the same dbus namespace and thus cannot run in parallel. Both upstream, from obexd and from obex-data-server, should be contacted to clarify that. The decision should not be forwarded to the users and they simply won't know. And having kdebluetooth4 using ods while bluez-gnome uses obexd only makes it worse. If they use the same dbus API, they should share the same virtual package and the decriptions for both should state the OBEX profiles that they support (for obexd this is OPP and FBS). Both are in active development. Please also take into account that bluetooth is not only used with bluetooth transport but also with IrDA, USB, TCP and possibly serial cables. Obexd only supports bluetooth, AFAIK. obex-data-server also supports USB, AFAIK. I would like to avoid the same mess as we had with bluez 2.x -> 3.x transition where there were no usuable frontends until much later. So the whole thing should be polished including packaging of kdebluetooth4. HS -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Marco, I have packaging done for the C version of alarm-clock, however after talking with upstream it seems like for now the Python version should be left in Debian. Bug#525986: [Bug 315950] Re: [needs-packaging] FoFiX (Frets on Fire X)
Unfortunately, there are still a couple of show-stoppers for this to happen, at least in Debian unstable. The most notable problem right now is the bad python-pyvorbis 1.4 package that throws a double-free error. Please see: http://bugs.debian.org/521559 Another issue is that python-pygame is still at version 1.7.1 (or 1.8.x in Ubuntu) while >= 1.9.x is required, at least for 64bit CPUs. Until those two issues are tackled, i don't see a FoFiX package for Debian/Ubuntu coming. However, if they're resolved, i'll gladly package it myself or make sure it gets packaged. Finally, as a comment to the Debian RFP, please note that i'm not the only upstream author, not at all! Actually, there are quite a few active developpers these days. I hope i won't hurt anyone's feelings but i think the most active developers currently are (no particular order): Chris Paiano Pascal Giard (me) Blazingamer Qstick akedrou John Stumpo volshebnyi Cheers, -Pascal PS: As a side note, we'd like to modify FoFiX so it can use multiple songs folders.
