Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Lucas Nussbaum * Package name: ubuntu-dev-tools Version : 0.75 Upstream Author : Ubuntu developers * License : Mix. GPLv{2,3} (or later)? Programming Lang: mostly python, some shell Description : useful tools for Ubuntu developers Currrent long description of the package in Ubuntu (might be improved): This is a collection of useful tools that Ubuntu developers use to make their packaging work a lot easier. . Such tools can include bug filing, build rebuilding, packaging preparation and package analysis, among other things. This package is similar to devscripts, and some of the scripts it contains could probably be moved to devscripts. But it also provides scripts that are useful to Ubuntu developers when running Debian, and even to Debian developers. For example, requestsync would allow Debian developers to request syncs (unmodified copies) if their debian packages to Ubuntu, and pull-lp-source is a dget wrapper that allows to download source packages from launchpad. I would appreciate co-maintainers that package. In fact, if someone wants to do all the work and maintain it by himself, I'm fine with that. Packaging ubuntu-dev-tools requires packaging some dependencies first: - python-launchpadlib (Launchpad web services client library) - python-wadllib (Python library for navigating WADL files) - python-httplib2 (HTTP client library ; currently packaged but outdated in Debian) - Lucas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". It checks interface signatures and data type definitions in two library versions (headers and shared objects) and searches ABI changes that may lead to incompatibility. Breakage of the compatibility may result in crashing or incorrect behavior of applications built with an old version of a library when it is running with a new one. Bug#399756: any progress
reopen 399756 thanks Hi James I still think wordpress-mu would be a nice addition to debian. Reopening the rfp as there's interest from you as well. We've been making do ok with the regular debian package, in our case running 30 wordpress instances from the one codebase. That said, for the reasons I mentioned above (especially better theme and plugin separation between blogs) the mu version would work better. Currently users of wordress instances we host can switch to other people's customised themes, which is not ideal (it doesn't cause problems but would be cleaner if they weren't visible). Bug#538942: Plan to merge into catalyst-modules-extras
retitle Add Catalyst::Plugin::Setenv to libcatalyst-modules-extra-perl thanks Hi: It was discussed that this module is very small (not too many lines of code) and thus probably more appropriate as part of the catalyst-modules-extra package. Please note that this bug will be closed by its inclusion to the catalyst-extras package (rather than the creation/upload of a new package).
