Portability and flexibility are OASIS3 key design concepts. At run-time, OASIS3 acts as a separate mono process executable, which main function is to interpolate the coupling fields exchanged between the component models, and as a library linked to the component models, the OASIS3 PRISM Model Interface Library (OASIS3 PSMILe). OASIS3 supports 2D coupling fields only. To communicate with OASIS3, directly with another model, or to perform I/O actions, a component model needs to include few specific PSMILe calls. OASIS3 PSMILe supports in particular parallel communication between a parallel component model and OASIS3 main process based on Message Passing Interface (MPI) and file I/O using the GFDL mpp_io library. OASIS3 has been extensively used in the PRISM demonstration runs and is currently used by approximately 15 climate modelling groups in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, India and Brazil. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) ---End Message--- ---BeginMessage--- Source: oasis3 Source-Version: 3.1.dfsg.1-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of oasis3, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: liboasis3-dev_3.1.dfsg.1-1_i386.deb to main/o/oasis3/liboasis3-dev_3.1.dfsg.1-1_i386.deb oasis3-examples_3.1.dfsg.1-1_i386.deb to main/o/oasis3/oasis3-examples_3.1.dfsg.1-1_i386.deb oasis3_3.1.dfsg.1-1.debian.tar.gz to main/o/oasis3/oasis3_3.1.dfsg.1-1.debian.tar.gz oasis3_3.1.dfsg.1-1.dsc to main/o/oasis3/oasis3_3.1.dfsg.1-1.dsc oasis3_3.1.dfsg.1-1_i386.deb to main/o/oasis3/oasis3_3.1.dfsg.1-1_i386.deb oasis3_3.1.dfsg.1.orig.tar.gz to main/o/oasis3/oasis3_3.1.dfsg.1.orig.tar.gz A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached. Bug#568568: O: chktex -- Finds typographic errors in LaTeX
Package: wnpp Severity: normal The current maintainer of chktex, bar...@debian.org, doesn't have enough time anymore for this package. Therefore, I orphan this package now. If you want to be the new maintainer, please take it -- see http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/index.html#howto-o for detailed instructions how to adopt a package properly. Hauke on behalf of Debian QA/MIA Some information about this package: ChkTeX finds typographic errors in LaTeX documents: * Supports over 40 warnings. * Supports ``\input“ command; both TeX and LaTeX version. Actually includes the files. ``TEXINPUTS“-equivalent search path. * Intelligent warning/error handling. The user may promote/mute warnings to suit his preferences. You may also mute warnings in the header of a file; thus killing much unwanted garbage. * Supports both LaTeX 2.09 and LaTeX2e. * Flexible output handling. Has some predefined formats and lets the user specify his own format. Uses a ``printf()“ similar syntax. ``lacheck“ compatible mode included for interfacing with the AUC-TeX Emacs mode. If you want to be the new maintainer, please take it -- see http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/index.html#howto-o for detailed instructions how to adopt a package properly. Hauke on behalf of Debian QA/MIA Some information about this package: Wiggle is a program for applying patches that 'patch' cannot apply due to conflicting changes in the original. Wiggle will always apply all changes in the patch to the original. If it cannot find a way to cleanly apply a patch, it inserts it in the original in a manner similar to 'merge', and report an unresolvable conflict. It allows editing multiple fonts and multiple glyphs, it allows cut and paste operations between fonts and glyphs and editing font properties. The editor works natively with BDF fonts. This editor is the successor of xmbdfed and is using the GTK+ toolkit instead of the Motif toolkit for better user experience. It can search for the newest kernel in numerous trees (vanilla, rc, tiny, mm, mjb, etc.). It can also automatically download the needed patches (and apply them) to create the newest repository from an old one. Bug#426048: Tested the package build
I have tested this on Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 amd64 and it builds nicely. I followed the steps Robert highlighted earlier: git clone git://git.debian.org/collab-maint/fuppes.git cd fuppes/ git-buildpackage --git-ignore-new These build and install correctly. I would only add that I got errors without libexiv2-dev installed, so I added it to debian/control - Here's my patch on top of commit 60dc5a54927cb73a3d74bb9f857491c7182e19b3 diff --git a/debian/control b/debian/control index 6fa5cc8..e2601e4 100644 --- a/debian/control +++ b/debian/control @@ -18,6 +18,7 @@ Build-Depends: debhelper (= 7), autotools-dev, libmad0-dev, libmpeg4ip-dev, libmp4v2-dev, +libexiv2-dev, devtodo Standards-Version: 3.8.3 Vcs-Git: git://git.debian.org/git/collab-maint/fuppes.git -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
