Bolt is an open source orchestration tool that automates the manual work
it takes to maintain your infrastructure. Use Bolt to automate tasks
that you perform on an as-needed basis or as part of a greater
orchestration workflow. For example, you can use Bolt to patch and
update systems, troubleshoot servers, deploy applications, or stop and
restart services. Bolt can be installed on your local workstation and
connects directly to remote targets with SSH or WinRM, so you are not
required to install any agent software.

Now that hashicorp has changed the licence of their software BSL, I

elogind source tarball is also building a elogind PAM module and a

IMVHO, the libelogind library shouldn't be package as a public library

Description : GObject-based library to access oVirt REST API

libgovirt is a GObject-based library to access oVirt REST API. It uses
GObject and librest to integrate well with GNOME applications.

>From the README:

GoVirt is a GObject wrapper for the oVirt REST API [1]. It will
only provide very basic functionality as the goal is to
autogenerate a full wrapper as it is already done for the python
bindings.

NB: at this time, govirt is *NOT* considered API/ABI stable. Future
releases may still include API/ABI incompatible changes.

Bug#804221: O: djagios

2015-11-06 Thread Laurent Bigonville
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

Hi,

I think I should have orphaned this package quite sometimes ago as I'm
not really using it.

The compatibility with the newer version of django and python should be checked
and I guess the package should be RM if it's not working anymore. I don't think
upstream is working on this anymore.

Description: A package to help configure nagios written in Django
Djagios is an open source Nagios web based configuration tool with a complete
 Python Nagios API.
 .
The main goal of the tool was to make Nagios usable for non-Nagios admins.
The initial install and configuration would have to be done by Nagios
administrators. But once done ordinary users can add servers, appliances,
 devices, services themselves.

The tuned package contains a daemon that tunes system settings dynamically.
It does so by monitoring the usage of several system components periodically.
Based on that information components will then be put into lower or higher
power saving modes to adapt to the current usage. Currently only ethernet
network and ATA harddisk devices are implemented.

The openswan package has been removed from the debian archive now, could be
interesting to have this to replace it.

In the archive also have strongswan, but it is missing some feature like
labeled IPSEC (SELinux) support or a good integration with network-manager for
the roadwarriors.

gnome-software is indeed not fully working due to the missing appstream
data, that's why I didn't even commit it to the repository, this was
definitely just a test made during our Sprint last weekend.

Quickly looking, the .typelib file cannot be installed in the
multi-arch path (should be in /usr/lib/girepository-1.0/ instead) and
the Multi-Arch flag for this package should be removed completely.

And maybe you want to move the examples from the -dev package to the
-doc one, but I guess this is a matter of taste..

AFAIK there are still some (5?) direct reverse-dependencies that must
first be packaged, I'm not sure I'll have the time soon to look at this.

Maybe a first step would be to open ITP/RFP for all the missing direct
and indirect reverse dependencies for veewee.

I've no objection if someone what to takeover this ITP.

Cheers

Laurent Bigonville

PS: I'm not a ruby expert either. But packaging ruby gems is not that
difficult with the help of gem2deb tools :)

I didn't upload the package because I discover that gypsy was
containing some serious security issues.

I asked recently for a new release. I /think/ that it fix all the
concerns.

But I'm not sure I'll have the time to look at gypsy soon.

Bug#603699: RFP: celt051 -- The CELT codec v0.5.1

2012-03-24 Thread Laurent Bigonville
Hi,

Sorry for reviving this RFP/ITP, but I really think we should have a
separate package for celt 0.5.1.

For what I've understood:

 - spice-server -> works only amd64 (patch seems to have been added for
   i386 support earlier this week)
 - celt -> works on all arch
 - spice client -> should work on all arch (maybe with some endianness
   issues)

GNOME is now providing a gnome-boxes app which is depending on the
spice-client library (and the libcelt051 library) but as it only exist
on amd64 and i386 we cannot make that package available on all arch.

I really would like to see that celt0.5.1 hits the debian archive.

Cheers

Bug#514724: RFA: gnome-keyring-sharp -- CLI library to access the GNOME Keyring daemon

2009-02-10 Thread Laurent Bigonville
Package: wnpp
Version: N/A; reported 2009-02-10
Severity: normal

This package is a C# implementation of the gnome-keyring library used
to manipulate the keyring.

This package has only one r-depend (f-spot) in debian and has no open
bugs in the debian bts.
The current version is an 1 year old svn snapshot, it maybe worth to
make a new snapshot as upstream doesn't have released any new stable
version.

The package is ready and has even been uploaded once but refused by
ftp-master due to licensing problems.

The package is already maintained under the utopia (dbus..) repository.
