Bug#516869: [www.debian.org] /ports/sparc/ says that sun4m is supported

2009-02-23 Thread Filipus Klutiero
Package: www.debian.org
Severity: normal

According to http://debian.org/ports/sparc/index.en.html

But according to
http://debian.org/releases/stable/sparc/ch02s01.html.en#sparc-cpus

So there's a contradiction. I suppose a revision of that page wouldn't be
wasted.

debian.org/releases/squeeze/releasenotes: no release-notes actually (was: dead links)

You certainly want to read Lenny release-notes before an upgrade to
Lenny :
http://www.debian.org/releases/lenny/releasenote

Actually, squeeze is the testing suite, and work on squeeze
release-notes will start some months before the release of squeeze.

To -www and -doc: since there are no squeeze release-notes available,
is everyone ok with modifying the sequeeze/releasenotes/index.wml to
tell nothing is ready yet ?

Best regards.

dead links

2009-02-23 Thread Vaterchen Frost
Hi Admin,

I tied to read squeeze's release-notes bevor upgrading my Lenny. All the links
on this site:
http://www.debian.org/releases/squeeze/releasenotes point to a site that says:
The requested URL /releases/squeeze/armel/release-notes/ was not found on this
server.

I tried to choose different countries in the upper right corner, but nothing
worked.

I hope it is nothing difficult.

greetings

Schdeefan

For the record (and promotion of smart_change.pl) :

./smart_change.pl -s
's|sarge/volatile|/volatile|g;s|etch/volatile|/volatile|g'
 english/volatile/index.wml

Commited in the CVS, available on the website wihtin a few hours.
