from CVS. There seems to be some content updated only when new things
comes. ('Accept-Language: ja')

Some translated link headers are broken. It seems wrong encoding data

Hi, I finally found time to move debian-reference back to DDP SVN. But now I am facing SVN checkout problem: http://www-master.debian.org/build-logs/ddp/svn.log svn: Failed to add file 'trunk/quick-reference/README': object of the same name already exists Since this was major change, some files were removed and readded between SVN checkout. So we need to clean checked out directory contents on www-master for manuals/trunk/quick-reference contents. Can someone do this since I do not have access? Hello! I was AnthonyFok on http://wiki.debian.org/ . While at the UserPreference screen I mistakenly changed my name to Anthony''Fok, I could no longer change it back to AnthonyFok. To try to work around it, I tried changing my name to AnthonyTFok etc., and finally TungLing. It turns out that I could no not change my name to anything that I tried before. Instead, I get this error message: This user name already belongs to somebody else. MoinMoin must somehow still know that TungLing is equivalent to AnthonyFok, because I can still log in to Wiki with either name. I know it is my own fault, but could some kind soul help me look into it and returning my name to AnthonyFok? Sorry for troubling you, and thanks in advance! Please read again the Release Notes, it does not suggest removing half of your system and, actually, the path there *prevents* that. Well, I believe Release Managers (at least Steve) did review this announcement. In order to prevent problems with translations we might want to leave it as it is now. But, as this paragraph was present in potato's [1], woody's [2] and sarge's [3] (with only a few modifications) and etch's upgrade process is more complicated than those I think we should (in a few days, after release and with all the translations in the website) reword it a little bit to put some more stress in the need to read the Release Notes *before* the upgrade. As you might know, we are really short before releasing etch. Since Joey is on vacation, I have the pleasure to send out the announcement :) An annoucement has been written with the help of the people on the -publicity and -l10n-english mailing list. I think it would be ready to be translated to other languages as well. The announcement is available at http://people.debian.org/~tolimar/release.txt (and soon .wml). It would be great if you could translate it in time so the anouncement would be in all kind of languages in place. Talking about in time... well... actually I can't tell you what in time means exactly. It will be really, really soon now, but I can't give you an exact timestamp (yet). So I think the best way to do it, would be to translate it, and let me do the work regarding commit and send out work when etch is finally released. For this I ask for advice, and if it's possible for us to have access to the same resources given by Debian for the translation process. My advice is to bring back the original discussion and prepare a plan together with Brazilian Portuguese team to re-sctruture what is our needs, probably copy the www directory and related stuff. With that we can arrange the necessary space and the necessary changes for both teams. I would be happy to help with that, but we still need i18n coordinators approval and some input from www team. BTW, I don't see a need to split debian-users-portuguese and debian-devel-portuguese. Help needed to get autogb run for chinese pages

We have everything validating now except two license index translations (which will be gone when the translators update their pages) and the yaboot howto which is build by debian-doc, but there are several files in the chinese directory, which have to be changed to get valid chinese pages (see http://people.debian.org/~alfie/ validate/zh-tw). IIRC translators can choose any encoding they like, file content is recoded when pages are generated. With this tag, I consider the list of software which might be included in the Debian-Med project to be considerably easier to maintain and translate. However, I'm not sure how to do this properly, so I'm asking for comments to avoid screwing up... I would put a file named debian-med.wml in webwml/english/template/debian, to include the tag definition via #use wml::debian::debian-med in the wml files. I'm using the gettext tag to mark repetitive strings, so translations are easier. However, I don't know which gettext domain I should use. My guess is that templates would be appropriate. After this, I would add debian-med.wml to templates_FILES in the Makefile in english/po, run make pot, and commit templates.pot. This is what I concluded from looking at other files in the CVS, READMEs and the list archive. You didn't commit your Makefile. Fixed already.
I did some other stuff to the makefiles to fix the other things.
