We are based around two osteopathic centres. We have two Debian servers and 25 
workstations. 

We have chosen Debian for it's stability, security and ease of maintenance. We
love Debian because it is entirely free and libre, in comparison with other

We are a small business auto parts jobber store running two workstations 
and one server. Our store uses custom made point of sale software. We 
chose Debian as our supporting operating system because of it's

We use them for mail, file sharing, web hosting (test), ticketing system,
dns, wiki, and monitoring our audio streaming, and are pretty satisfied
with the system. System updates are flawless, software is very well
tested, I personaly came across a single bug in all the software we're
running on  and it was upstream (shorewall), community is helpful... It
checks a lot my boxes.

I'm not seeing the typical HTTP Server response header for Debian:

Server: Apache/[version] (Debian)

...but instead get a generic one for Apache:

Would you mind pointing us to a way to verify that you're using Debian?

I think it is useful to demonstrate that Debian has a diverse
world-wide audience, even to English speakers. Where sites are
multilingual we could link to the English version of the site and

Could you communicate to them that the only certification Debian
currently offers is certification of contribution to and or membership
of Debian? We probably need to have a discussion about this topic on
debian-project, as we had for hardware certification recently.

4. We are a university in partnership with the Robertson College in
Canada which delivers degrees to our students who take their exams here.
Most of the content from their training is done on Windows and Cisco. As
the supervisor of the Linux part of this training which is not
considered by the Canadians, I decided to set up three servers, two
running Debian and one running Ubuntu, for our lab work. We have
configured usual network services such as DNS, DHCP, Apache, MySQL,
SAMBA, Nagios… Additionally, we have three computer science rooms, each
having at least 20 machines with Windows/Debian dual boots.
I would like a partnership between my university and the Debian
community so my students can have documents such as certificates.

There is no need to criticize or overly investigate a submission for
entry into the Who's using Debian page[1]. If you look over the entries
you will find some companies provide a lot of information and some very
little. Some use multiple operation systems in their environments. It is
up to that organization to qualify their use of Debian and some simply
will not out of concern for privacy/security.
