git commit mail now truncated to 1000 lines
Hi, Some git commit mails are dropped because they are too big for the list (100kB). To be sure it does not happen again, I added head -n 1000 to the update hook on alioth. It's not very nice, but I think it's better than not having any notification mail when a big change is committed. Of course, if anybody wants to write a nice solution, feel free to so. Re: [RFC] Build a new xserver-xorg-core-dbg package.
On Fri, Mar 23, 2007 at 01:44:29PM +0100, Julien Cristau wrote: Include debugging symbols for the Xorg server and associated modules in a new package. --- Hi all, This is an attempt at building a package with debugging symbols for the Xorg server. It's a bit more complicated than adding --dbg-package to dh_strip because the modules are stripped differently (without --strip-unneeded). Let me know if I should push this for one of the next uploads to experimental. Sure, although I think putting 1.3 in to experimental first is probably a good move. Adding the debugging symbols right after is fine, although waiting a day or two after to see if there are any users screaming at us for easy fixes is probably wise too. Sure, I've just added it for the experimental packages. It'll be in the next upload. BTW: from the next evtouch and synaptics upload I'd like to set the Maintainer to the XSF and me as uploader, do you agree? Sounds good! Thanks a lot! My pleasure. Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you, I've been insanely busy with work lately. - David Nusinow -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble?
