Sorry, that was actually a guess, which I should have noted. I
couldn't figure out quickly how to tell -- I'm confused by the current
setup. Perhaps it's worth a note in the doc directory with a recipe?

Bug#279067: xfonts-75dpi: strange glyph for lambda in misc-fixed iso10646-1

2004-10-31 Thread Dave Love
Package: xfonts-75dpi
Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-8
Severity: normal

The glyph for lambda (0x3BB) in
-Misc-Fixed-Medium-R-Normal--13-120-75-75-C-70-ISO10646-1 (at least)
is odd -- it doesn't look like a lambda to me. Perhaps there's a good
reason for it in terms of modern Greek usage, but it doesn't agree
with the example in the Unicode chart or any other fonts I've checked.

Bug#278928: xfonts-75dpi: swapped mixed-fixed arrow glyphs

2004-10-30 Thread Dave Love
Package: xfonts-75dpi
Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-8
Severity: normal

At least in -Misc-Fixed-Medium-R-Normal--13-120-75-75-C-70-ISO10646-1,
the glyphs for U+2198 (SOUTH EAST ARROW) and U+2199 (SOUTH WEST ARROW)
are swapped. I haven't check the rest of misc-fixed.

Re: XFree86 4.0.3-0pre1v1 available for testing on powerpc & sparc

2001-04-09 Thread Dave Love
Should this work with a Mach64 card on an UltraSPARC? If so, how? It
doesn't offer that as an option when configuring.

Ben Collins said to use the v3 mach64 packages, but I couldn't find a
consistent set of testing packages to allow that and I can't with this
effort either. I can go through it again and provide details if it
helps.
