Declude support says it is a known problem and they are currently
working on a resolution.

OK, as I suspected, the issue has nothing to do with Hijack.

No, what I was referring to is called Store and Forward service or Gateway
service where the domain involved is no where to be found in Imail, but the
domain is listed in the HOSTS file and Imail relays for the IP of the
gatewayed server. Something entirely different from what is going on here.

Time to put the JunkMail log into DEBUG mode, run it until you know the
problem has occurred, put it back into what ever log mode you desire, then
copy out all the lines for a message in question. Feel free to post those

Turning-off Hijack had no affect. The issue continued.

Are you referring to the "Forward" field, just below the "reply-to"
field of the User's record in Imail? Are you saying that using that
field, (instead of setting up an Alias record, instead) will somehow
let mail through, when it is over the hold weight?

Thanks,

We've had Hijack shut-down for about 24 hours and we are still seeing

Note, if this is related to Hijack, there either there is a new bug in
Hijack or there is a misconfiguration somewhere, as Hijack only checks
outbound messages. NOTE: If you are doing gateway service rather than using

[Declude.JunkMail] Over Hold Weight, but Delivered

2006-07-14 Thread Don Brown
We have been seeing mail being delivered, when it has scored higher
than our hold weight.

The common denominator with these messages seems to be that it is
addressed to multiple recipients. These recipients are sometimes of
the same domain and other times of different domains.

We are running the latest 4.xx release with Imail 8.xx, but this
behavior isn't new to this release. We've noticed it for the last few
releases, although I'm not sure which release marked the start of it.

Has anyone else been seeing this behavior or are we just lucky?

Thanks,
