Re: [Declude.Virus] Running declude 4.x

Title: Message

The was definitely a change between Declude Version
3.0.5.23 and Version 3.0.5.26 in its handling of header processing. We had
to roll back to .23 because .26 was causing strange behavior with certain mime
encapsulated messages. I sent evidence to David Franco-Rocha off-line on
2/10, but have yet to hear anything back.

Kevin,

I would report it to their support address for a direct response (as
they have instructed). Considering the weekend and holiday, and the
likely fact that this will require a new release, I wouldn't expect a
fix immediately, nor necessarily a response today. In the meantime I
would suggest downgrading to 3.0.5.23 or below since this appears to
have popped up after that.

content per se. _Periodically_ updated content like the
virus signatures could be written out pretty easily to
the .TXT files that FOOTER32 uses as input; you could
either have this triggered when an update comes in, maybe by
parsing a notification e-mail that you get for every update
or something like that. . . or, even easier, by running a
batch file every hour or so that checks the signature
date/version and writes this out to new .TXT files.

However, _totally_ dynamic content like the incoming
timestamp of each message could not be accomplished.
