Q: For the SKIPIFRECIP option, I should use one option per domain.Right ?
Example:
SKIPIFRECIP @domaina.com
SKIPIFRECIP [EMAIL PROTECTED]
SKIPIFRECIP @domaind.com

That is correct.

I suggest something like:
SKIPIFRECIP [EMAIL PROTECTED]
or
SKIPIFRECIP @example.com
---
same goes for SKIPIFSENDER option

Actually, those will work for the SKIPIFRECIP and SKIPIFSENDER options (the
manual will be updated shortly to reflect this).

I suggest (see suggestion between ******):

With Declude Virus, you can also restrict who the notification is sent to,
using certain commands in the E-mail template files. Each command needs to
be on a line by itself. ***Make sure to add the options to the beginning
(before the first blank line) of any of the \IMail\Declude\*.eml files.***
The available commands are:

Thanks for the suggestion -- that will get included. :)

Perhaps you can place a link to a .eml example, so users understand how to
use the commands

Good idea -- we now have a sample .eml file displayed in the manual in that
section.

One question and 3 suggestions
Q: For the SKIPIFRECIP option, I should use one option per domain.Right ?
Example:
SKIPIFRECIP @domaina.com
SKIPIFRECIP [EMAIL PROTECTED]
SKIPIFRECIP @domaind.com

Suggestion: In the SKIPIFRECIP usage you should consider adding the per
domain case according to the release notes:

Now, the usage is as follows (in the online manual):
SKIPIFRECIP [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I suggest something like:
SKIPIFRECIP [EMAIL PROTECTED]
or
SKIPIFRECIP @example.com
---
same goes for SKIPIFSENDER option

Also in the introductory test of the options list (online manual), it says:

With Declude Virus, you can also restrict who the notification is sent to,
using certain commands in the E-mail template files. Each command needs to
be on a line by itself. The available commands are:

The manual ( http://www.declude.com/virus/manual.htm ) has been updated to
include all the commands that can be used in the E-mail notification
files. We are not aware of any options that are available but not covered
in the manual; if anyone knows of any, please let me know.

I hope you understand when I say.. its hard for me to concieve of renewing a

The problem here is that there are some options that we added typically for
individual users at their request, which are available in the latest
released version, but aren't advertised yet. Although it would be nice to
have the manual reflect all options that are available in the latest
release, we can't always do that (for example, there are sometimes features
that are in a released version that are still in beta testing that do not
get added to the manual).

In this case, we are planning to add a new section to the manual that
summarizes all the new options that can be used in the *.eml files, rather
than having them in separate locations in the manual.

I really like your software.. thats why I bought all of them for my server..

Thank you.

but after a year.. I still don't see a link to the manual on your website..
you have to know where it is...

That is intentional, not a mistake. That's a policy issue.

and beyond installing it and turning it
on... I don't see much documentation on making it do more checks like I see
referenced here on this list...

The main reason for that is that this list is also used to discuss the
latest beta versions, which often have new features that aren't found in
the manual yet. If there is anything that you think is missing from the
manual, please let me know so that we can take care of it.

We do occasionally hear from people that the manuals are lacking, but we
rarely hear specifics as to what should be added/changed.

I would be fine with a sample config file that has all of the methods listed
and maybe one or two lines on how to use the method and what it does...

otherwise... I am not able to fully use what I pay for.. I love the product,
don't get me wrong.. but I find it difficult to figure out how to customize
it any further...

does anyone have a config file doing other things that they can share with
the group for educational purposes only...

Thanks

It would be very useful for reference.
