[Bug 91318] [apport] gnome-volume-control crashed with SIGSEGV

2007-03-10 Thread SiCHIPS
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-media

I was trying to get my ATI-HDTV card which does not have an audio loop
back into my Soundblaster Audigy LS to get sound from using TvTime.

All I was doing was switching the sources to figure out which one I
needed.

Anyone know how to get sound from the ATI-HDTV card to play through the
SoundBlaster Audigy LS

Thanks for all your time,
  Laurier

Re: [Bug 90383] Re: [apport] gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV in _int_malloc()

2007-03-10 Thread Bill Hand
OK... this is what I get when I first start valgrind... I see errors
but not sure if it's what you need. I assume you want me to leave it
running for a while and see what all happens when the panel crashes...
It's already at when I click on the 'frame' of the 'windows' to move a
window to a diff desktop, it cycles and won't let me do it. Only way I
can move things is minimize them down to the taskbar and then I can
right click and move the item to a diff desktop. I think I am explaining
that right

do you want me to turn on any of the swithces?

Here is from the first 5 mins of running valgrind:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo gnome-session-remove gnome-panel

Re: [Bug 89223] Re: baobab displays wrong totals after scanning FS

2007-03-10 Thread hggdh
Ah, OK.

So usage is relative to the total amount of used space, not to the
filesystem size. In other words, all scans will always show 100% usage
at the root. Even more, it will show 100% at the largest branch.

Is this really useful? Please note: I am actually asking, not being
pedantic. I myself expected that a 100% used would signal
lack of space.

But, anyway, if this is how it should work, then it is working as
designed.

[Bug 88439] Re: [Feisty] no evolution icon

2007-03-10 Thread Ralf Nieuwenhuijsen
The bug is still valid with updates as of 11/03/2007
When was the fixed released?

Secondly, when un-installing evolution, the icon in the internet (net)
menu disappear, but the one in office does not. It stays there. Which
package is this ".desktop"-file associated with?

Perhaps that should be a separate bug report?

[Bug 76944] Re: Improve yelp index layout

2007-03-10 Thread Matthew East
Seb - thanks again for all the uploads!

I've discussed with Don some improvements we can make to the current
patch, and he's redone the original patch to make the list of topics
depend on scrollkeeper rather than being hardcoded. This is better
because it means that if a user has ubuntu-docs uninstalled then the
links don't appear, and derivatives can add documents as optional
(edubuntu is keen to do this).

I've done a debdiff with changelog entry, which I'll attach to the bug.
I've tested it, it works well!!
