[Bug 274531] Re: Missing shutdown button default on panel
Yes, You can call it a wish, but for common users it will be seen as a bug. This is not a perfect setup and it is not user friendly. [Bug 274669] [NEW] gnome power manager battery voltage
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager The update of the gnome-power-manager in Ubuntu Intrepid (2.24.0) causes extreme readings on my laptop. [Bug 267403] Re: [hardy] Tree view pane does not open to the specified URI
* Is this reproducible? Yes, consistently when I launch a customized Nautilus icon the tree view panel does not pre-open to the correct spot of the tree. * If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug? See below... * Could you describe how you create this launcher? 1) I have "File Browser" showing in my menu. It shows up (when enabled) in the Applications \ Accessories area. 2) Then I right-clicked that icon and clicked "Add this launcher to Desktop" 3) I changed the name of the new icon to specify what Samba server mount point I am going to preset it to. Ex: "server share" 4) Finally I append to the launcher command the specific dir I want it to open to, Ex: nautilus --no-desktop --browser %U /mnt/server/share Like I said, the icon view on the right opens to that directory, just the tree view does not pre-open to that level. When I click a folder in that view (on the right) then the tree on the left immediately opens to that correct directory as well. [Bug 258703] Re: gnome-sound-properties cannot set sound preferences
gnome-sound-properties is working properly for me now, ie the Sounds tab is not disabled and I can select and play sounds. But if you change one or more sounds (the theme then changes to 'Custom') and then change the theme to another (eg ubuntu or default), it loses the custom theme along with all your new settings, which is damned annoying. -- gnome-sound-properties cannot set sound preferences https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258703 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

I don't think this is a feature request. This is a bug. I'm looking at the Gnome Power Manager manual it is not performing as shown. I looked upstream and am not seeing any requests for logs. [Bug 274579] [NEW] totem shows red x's instead of video

[Bug 45974] Re: Auto-hide in gnome-panel
I can confirm this behaviour in hardy. I don't know if it caused by gnome menu, but sometimes the panel refuses to hide, sometimes it helps to click/focus it and then move focus away. then the panel hides. but sometimes it won't help. this should be fixed as this is basic optional behaviour one would expect from all panels, docks, etc. -- Auto-hide in gnome-panel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/45974 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
