[Bug 1812266] Re: Keyboard layout indicator does not indicate current layout (18.04 Bionic beaver)
Hello, when can we expect to get an update on 18.04? 18.04 is LTS, and all our workstations are 18.04. Next update will be 20.04. Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It sounds like some part of the system has crashed. If step 1 failed then look at https://errors.ubuntu.com/user/ID where ID is the content of file /var/lib/whoopsie/whoopsie-id on the machine. Do you find any links to recent problems on that page? If so then please send the links to us. 3. If step 2 also failed then apply the workaround from bug 994921, reboot, reproduce the crash, and retry step 1. Please take care to avoid attaching .crash files to bugs as we are unable to process them as file attachments. [Bug 1814454] Re: gnome-calculator incorrect use of dot/comma
I open gnome-calculator in basic mode. Remember: I have locale LC_NUMERIC=it_IT.UTF-8 where decimal separator is comma. I perform all following operations using the numeric keypad. i press the canc/dot key (bottom right) and then '5*7' in the entry box i see '.5x7' i hit enter in the history box i see '.5x7 = 3,5' so i entered dot and calculator interpreted the dot as comma - see my attachment in the entry box i try to enter '4.5' but i see only '4' the canc/dot key does nothing in other words the canc/dot key act as 'dot' only in 1st position. if i hit the num lock key the num-lock LED lights up and pressing the canc/dot key i see a comma. if i set locale LC_NUMERIC to US gnome calculator works fine -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-calculator in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1814454 Title: gnome-calculator incorrect use of dot/comma To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-calculator/+bug/1814454/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It sounds like some part of the system has crashed. To help us find the cause of the crash please follow these steps: 1. Look in /var/crash for crash files and if found run: ubuntu-bug YOURFILE.crash Then tell us the ID of the newly-created bug. 2.
