[Bug 791082] [NEW] Battery monitor doesn't show level on new ThinkPad model

2011-06-01 Thread Aaron Kavlie
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

On a ThinkPad X220, the battery monitor usually fails to report the battery
level after unplugging. Though the time remaining is reported, the meter shows
with a red outline, as if it's completely out of power.
If the problem doesn't show up immediately after unplugging, try putting the
machine to sleep and restarting. Then the problem should occur.

[Bug 664673] [NEW] Letter spacing out of whack when printing

2010-10-21 Thread Aaron Kavlie
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

I tried printing a PDF in Evince, and there's something seriously wrong
with the letter spacing on the printout -- in some of the text on the
page, it inserted a lot of space between every letter, to the point that
half the text runs off the page. It's not readable.

This can be seen in the print preview, so it's definitely an evince
problem, not a printer problem.
