I'm French and I think left and right control keys should behave the same as in every other normal french layouts. A workaround is not a bug fix... And doing a special treatment for foreign language is definitely not a bug fix either (i'm french BTW). I think the bug should just be fixed by the developers (I don't care if it's one of Rhythmbox or of GNOME or X.org). And I also think it's a shame that more than a year after the bug appears in launchpad, the bug is still active and even though not fixed! What should we do to be heard? Maybe open a brainstorm idea? [Bug 195035] [NEW] rhythmbox won't play a specific track if crossfading is activated
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox I've ripped the last White Stripes album (Icky Thump) in Ogg (quality=0.6). The first track won't play in rhythmbox if crossfading is activated (0.0s, fade between tracks of the same album, 256Ko). It works like a charm if it isn't. I can give you the file if you ask me, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to attach it here :) I haven't tested on another computer, but the bug is reproducible at 100% here. If someone can, at least, try at his place, that'd be great!
