[Bug 91854] Re: Cannot unmount volume: Cannot remove directory

2007-03-17 Thread Dominique Würtz
I can confirm this. The bug was introduced post Herd 4. My usb drive
that causes this problem is labeled "USB DISK".

[Bug 57419] Re: gnome-mixer-applet shows wrong volume slider controls for my ice1712 based soundcard

2006-08-23 Thread Dominique Würtz
I agree that this bug could be due to the ALSA driver itself but I still don't
think this is sane behaviour.
As I already described, there used to be a different set of sliders in breezy,
which was quite certainly correct since it was the same as in the soundcard
control panel for Windows. And these duplicates really don't make sense at all.
My particular soundcard has exactly one analog stereo input and one output.

[Bug 57419] gnome-mixer-applet shows wrong volume slider controls for my ice1712 based soundcard

2006-08-23 Thread Dominique Würtz
Public bug reported:

I own a Terratec EWX2496 soundcard which uses the ice1712 ALSA driver. There
used to be DAC and DAC2 volume sliders (stereo output) as well as two sliders
for ADC and ADC2 (stereo input).
However, since I think the Dapper release, following slider appear:
ADC, ADC 3, 2x DAC, 2x DAC3

The DAC/DAC3 sliders are duplicated, i.e. moving one DAC fader moves
the other one.

BTW, I'm currently using edgy, where the problem is still there.

** Affects: gnome-media (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Untriaged
 Status: Rejected
