I feel so sorry, but I did NOT continue with 20.04 - Focal Fossa, yet downgraded to 18.04 via backup. I couldn't even find out, where GnomeTweaks > Fonts is because EVERY SYSTEM FONT was unreadable. I won't try to upgrade this machine furthermore. Please, mark this thread as solved / unsolved. UPdate: ... yesterday - all of a sudden the LEFT side of the panel (above) appeared only: Anwendungen Orte (Apps - Locations). Today - the same two blank black bars - one below, one above desktop. But, Win-Key does not work either (in order to show Applications..) By the way, System Protocol states I would have installed Ubuntu Gnome Shell Remix last April - which is NOT correct. Good afternoon,, ;_) I got this too, all of a sudden, gnome panel disappeared on a freshly installed gnome-saucy system.
