Didier - Tested on my UNE system and it's fixed :) The "Select" text is quite long so the Login Screen Settings menu leaves about 1 inch on either side of my 9 inch Dell mini. Any chance to shorten some of the descriptive text for each dropdown option? I don't know if there are standards for these things but perhaps not using complete sentences. For example, instead of "This session logs you into a 2D Ubuntu Netbook Edition", use "Log into a 2D ubuntu Netbook Edition". [Bug 548417] [NEW] Enabling auto-login in UNE restarts into the regular desktop
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm 1. Boot into regular Lucid UNE 2. Go to System > Administration > Login Screen 3. Unlock the application 4. Select "Login as automatically" and click Close 5. Restart 6. System skips login and boots into Lucid Desktop (no UNE) If I change the Login Screen setting back to "Show the screen for choosing who will log in" it still boots me into Lucid Desktop (no UNE).
