[Bug 337629] Re: weather indicator in the time/date applet does not keep up to date
I still see this in Lucid. Here is a workaround, which only works before importing into f-spot. [Bug 244031] [NEW] Dates displayed don't match EXIF dates
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot When I import jpegs with EXIF data into f-spot, the dates under the picture are the import dates not the EXIF dates. Both the date under the picture in the browser mode and the date on the left-hand panel are wrong. Additionally, the left-hand panel does not display the exposure (exposure: (None)). In View-Meta Data Browser however, the EXIF data is correctly listed, which means it isn't lost during the import process. I usually download pictures from my camera and process them with Bibble before importing them into f-spot as jpeg. This wrong behaviour does not happen with pictures imported from my mobile phone camera (without processing in Bibble). I tried to strip down the meta data with exiftool to only contain EXIF tags but it didn't help. I attach a sample photo which demonstrates the misbehaviour. Pictures in my album from March seem to be filed under the EXIF date but my next batches starting from May are wrong so the behaviour probably changed during the upgrade to Hardy. This is on Hardy 64bit with -proposed enabled. [Bug 225199] [NEW] Calendar doesn't show Google dates
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-applets I have a Google Calendar configured and activated in Evolution. When I click on the GNOME clock applet in Hardy, the panel first freezes for about two seconds, then the calendar and location window opens and shows the days with appointments in my Google calendar (or any other activated calendar) in bold. However, when I click on one of the bold days, the applet doesn't show a summary of the corresponding Google appointments under the Appointments tab. Only appointments saved in a local calendar are displayed in this tab. I would expect that a summary from every activated calendar is displayed under Appointments for the selected day and that the applet opens immediately without a two-second delay. Selecting Make calendar available for offline use for the Google calendar doesn't seem to affect the behaviour. This is on Hardy amd64. I have the most recent versions of evolution (2.22.1-0ubuntu3.1), evolution-data-server (2.22.1-0ubuntu2.1) and gnome-applets (2.22.1-0ubuntu2) installed from hardy-proposed.
