Re: [Bug 889791] Re: Clicking on floppy drive item under "devices" on the nautilus sidebar does nothing

2011-11-14 Thread Nipas
I cannot access it from other locations. Clicking the icon from the
computer view shows : Unable to mount location. No medium in the drive.
Also tried gvfs-mount -d /dev/fd0 and the output is: No volume for device
file /dev/fd0"
It seems that this bug appears on debian also(
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=561746) and earlier
versions of Ubuntu (
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/+source/udisks/+bug/441835)

2011-11-13 Thread Nipas
Public bug reported:

When i inserting a floppy disk into the drive and
clicking on floppy drive item under "devices" on the nautilus sidebar nothing
happens.
Floppy drive works well with windows on the same machine so it's not a hardware
problem.
In other words floppy drive is unusable.

[Bug 824409] [NEW] Cursor hover effects should be used on nautilus with ambiance/radiance theme

2011-08-11 Thread Nipas
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu is on alpha stage, so i thought i could make a suggestion about
Ubuntu default theme.

Cursor hover effects should be used on nautilus with ambiance/radiance theme
..In my opinion it's a matter of usability
In Particular :
hover effect when moving the cursor above the left sidebar items ( "Devices"
, "Computer" , "Network" )
hover affect when moving the cursor above files and folders when showing on
list view mode
just some ideas.

Keep up the good work guys!

[Bug 759628] [NEW] Hover effect should be active on list view mode in nautilus

2011-04-13 Thread Nipas
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Both icon and compact view modes have hover effect(icons shine when
moving the cursor above) but list view does not..

(Also it would be nice if hover effect was more windows-like as it's very
useful in terms of usability..
I include a screenshot about the idea)

Cheers!

Ps: i found the screenshot by searching on the internet so it is not
made by me

Re: [Bug 356309] Re: Pointer does not change

2009-04-15 Thread Nipas
The pointer is correctly changed, as you said, but it does reflect only
above specific apps such as firefox (In all other common apps I tested the
problem exists)

Re: [Bug 356309] Re: Pointer does not change

2009-04-09 Thread Nipas
There is no error or something reported in the ~/.xsession-errors
file after trying to change the cursor.
OS: ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty beta with all updates installed
I also noticed that all pointers (except the default that works fine) work
under the firefox and openoffice window (I tried several apps) . When moving
the pointer above the application menu (firefox) or when i minimize the
window, the pointer changes to default.
Hope this helps
