[Bug 185300] Re: Rhythmbox Cannot Add or Update Podcast Feeds
same problem for me (Ubuntu 12.04.4). I can't even access the feeds that have already been set up. Occurs everytime. Though I can listen to already downloaded files. See attached log. ** Attachment added: "rhythmbox-debug.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/185300/+attachment/4005603/+files/rhythmbox-debug.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/185300 Title: Rhythmbox Cannot Add or Update Podcast Feeds To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/185300/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 532633] Re: [Master] Window Control buttons: position/order/alignment
Dear Mark Shuttleworth, and everyone else thinking it was a good change to place those buttons on the left side of the window. Please go read a book on Interaction Design, for example: About Face 3, ISBN 9780470084113 Now, After you have read that book, explain to me, why you want to have the Ejector Seat Button placed right above the Cockpit Lights Switch. Others, read this blog post to see a short version: http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/2010/03/the-opposite-of-fitts-law.html -- [Master] Window Control buttons: position/order/alignment https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/532633 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to metacity in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 13983] Re: Evolution virtual trash / "real" trash on IMAP server
>From #25 Just lost over 800 deleted emails. My response: so what? didn't you just deleted them? If you didn't want to lose them, you shouldn't have deleted them in the first place. If you wanted to keep them, just not in your inbox, you should've stored them in an folder. TRASH IS NOT AN ARCHIVE! Trash is prevent accidents, nothing more! let me make one thing clear, if you're using trash as an archive of your messages, YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG. I am voting strongly against this feature request, because there IS s a reason it is specified this way in IMAP. The only sad part is that evolution is about the only mailclient that does it the right way, and all others are using POP3 style on IMAP servers. (It's like running a steam train on electrified rails, and complaining there are no water and coal points along the track.) -- Evolution virtual trash / "real" trash on IMAP server https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/13983 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 391821] [NEW] Battery Charge Monitor display incorrent on A/C power
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-applets Description: When charging the battery, the battery picture (with Appearance set to Expended view) does not display the amount of battery life, but instead, displays the amount of time before being charged. ASCII art view: [___XX] 0:11 As the battery charged, the display goes to red until it is fully charged (which looks like it is out of power, not full). I believe there is a reversal of logic behind the display of the batter when on A/C power (charging), and should be fixed. The 'About' says "HAL backend enabled", but 'Credits' does not have a star next to Ryan's name. I believe it is actually using ACPI.
