[Bug 353958] Re: Cannot add a sound mixer applet

2009-04-07 Thread Vivien Taillandier
The applet is back on my panel but I'll give some information.

Before an update yesterday, I was able to see the applet simply by using the
2.6.27-7-generic kernel (intrepid).
However, it wasn't here after a reboot with the jaunty kernel.

Maybe the issue was caused by my hardware : an intel chipset (ASUS P5K) with a
M AUDIO DELTA 1010 LITE.
I'm saying this because my sound card wasn't working with pulseaudio on
intrepid.

If nobody has this problem anymore, I think we can close that bug
report.

Thanks for your work !

[Bug 353958] Re: Cannot add a sound mixer applet

2009-04-04 Thread Vivien Taillandier
I read the ~/.xsession-errors but nothing concerning the mixer-applet.
Since I don't know how to use gdb, could you tell me how to do it ?

I tried to figure out the command-line to show the applets-dialog, and I found
the panel-test-applets.
When clicking on Execute with the applet OAFIID:GNOME_MixerApplet, the
application froze, whereas the others shows a little applet (like the
trash-applet)

I hope I'll be more helpful on my next comment !

[Bug 353958] [NEW] Cannot add a sound mixer applet

2009-04-02 Thread Vivien Taillandier
Public bug reported:

System : Jaunty
Package : gnome-media 2.26.0-ubuntu3

Here is the issue :
I removed (by accident !) the sound-mixer applet from the top GNOME panel and
tried to add it but without success.

I can double-click, drag drop the applet from the list and nothing
appears on the panel, even though the green cross is present before
released the button.

[Bug 216660] Re: Show a usb device twice after hibernate (GNOME - Hardy)

2008-10-24 Thread Vivien Taillandier
I use the Intrepid release for one month now and I was unable to reproduce the
issue because I can't unlock my screen after an hibernation, a suspend or just
a screensaver with locking option.
As soon as this second issue will be fixed, I'll try your command line.

[Bug 119172] Re: The navigation bar isn't completly hidden in full screen mode

2008-03-23 Thread Vivien Taillandier
Hi.
I just tried with totem using the gstreamer and xine engines.
It seems that the bug has been fixed since I don't have any problem now.

Have a nice day !

[Bug 119172] Re: The navigation bar isn't completly hidden in full screen mode

2007-07-04 Thread Vivien Taillandier
I tried with totem-gstreamer with the nvidia et nv drivers. No bugs
noticed (only the fact that after having downloaded the correct
gstreamer packages advised by totem-gstreamer, I had to reload the
soft).

However, the bug is always there when using the xine engine, using the
nvidia or nv driver.

I used the latest version of totem (gutsy).

[Bug 119172] Re: The navigation bar isn't completly hidden in full screen mode

2007-06-21 Thread Vivien Taillandier
The video cards used are GeForce 6 series (6200 Go PCIE and 6600 LE
AGP8x)

I got the bug with the nvidia drivers (linux-restricted-modules-2.6.20(21 and
22)-generic with the nvidia-glx package.
Since I won't have my computers for some days, I can't confirm the bug with the
vesa and nv drivers, but if I remember correctly, the same bug happened.

I never tried with totem-gstreamer, because I was unable to watch movies
encoded with the x264 codec. I couldn't find any gstreamer-x264 package
and got no help from totem (like when you insert a dvd for the first
time)

I hope those infos will help you, and if it's not the case, just tell me
and I'll try to complete my bug report as soon as I can.

PS : I wonder if the unability to watch x264 movies in totem-gstreamer
is a bug, or simply due to a bad installation ?

[Bug 119172] The navigation bar isn't completly hidden in full screen mode

2007-06-07 Thread Vivien Taillandier
Public bug reported:

When playing a movie with totem (totem-xine), I turn on full screen mode
(double click or F).
There is no problem since I use the mouse and makes the bottom navigation bar
appear.
When I move out the mouse from the bar, the part where the video plays
disappear, unlike the others (borders).

To make the whole bar disappear, I press F twice.

This bug is particulary visible with 16/10 screens.

PS : I use Feisty.
