[Bug 827080] [NEW] System Freeze Every Start-Up
Public bug reported: Every Start-Up of Ubuntu Maverick Meerkat (10.10) on my Toshiba Satellite Laptop, the whole system freezes a few minutes after Logging in. This is about the time I have to open Firefox (but the problem occurs even if I do not open any software). SysRq+Alt+REISUB has no effect so I have to do a hard restart. This usually fixes the problem (when I log-in again) but sometimes I have to restart in this manner two or three times. I think it maybe a GUI issue. Any suggestions? [Bug 224861] [NEW] Evolution address contacts mismatched with Pidgin mail contacts.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution I synchronize my Pidgin contacts with my Evolution contacts address agenda. They appears on Evolution contacts but when I open a new email, Evolution do not recognize any email contact! I think that bug is due to the mismatch between Pidgin email field and Evolution email field. Pidgin mapped email contact on Evolution IM messaging field and not on the e-mail field. Maybe, that is the cause of Evolution do not read any contact on its agenda and the synchro functionnality os out of service. Thanks a lot.
