[Bug 164344] Re: Can't empty trash. Tryed several times including rebooting.

2008-03-22 Thread David Dodd
Is this bug fixed or has it been put on back burner? I am getting this
bug also but only after adding my own /home partition after doing full
install.

[Bug 164344] Re: Can't empty trash. Tryed several times including rebooting.

2008-03-22 Thread David Dodd
I found a fix for this error.

I looked in my ~/.evolution/mail/local folder, I did not have the
mbox.ev-summary file. I made a blank text file and went back and was able to
empty my trash.
I also deleted the file with no effect after the fix.

2007-11-27 Thread Wayne H.
In addition to the message in a box I sent you in my last email I get
the following:

Summary and folder mismatch, even after sync.

Please send some sort of reply so I'm sure the email is getting through.
My email trash is so full its about to burst and drown me in bits and
bytes.

Thanks, Wayne

Re: [Bug 164344] Re: Can't empty trash. Tryed several times including rebooting.

2007-11-24 Thread Wayne H.
Thanks for the reply.

I'm not computer savvy enough to know how to run things from the command
line. However, when I try to empty trash I get the following notice,
framed in a box.

Evolution Error
Error while expunging folder
error storing'~/evolution/mail/local/inbox(mbox)':

I hope this is of help. If it's not enough, more explicit instructions
will be needed.

Thanks,

Wayne
